Hopefully your still receiving and answering questions - I've been repairing transducer's for years [ when it will allow ] the signal is sent to the crystal by a very thin wire and because of moisture the surface that the wire is soldered to darkens and rubs off [ I think it's of a silver nature ] any way to reapply the silver looking surface to the ceramic - also you suggest rohs solder I recommend a silver solder it seems to work better for me when I'm able to resolder back to my surface of said transducer - granted I'm trying to solder in a very tight space
Really appreciate the video! Maybe you would be so kind to give me some advice. I use a piezo as an electronic drum trigger. On top of the piezo sits a piece of foam , the foam makes contact with the drumhead. Needless to say that the whole thing is under constant "abuse" because of the head being hit. As a result the joint of the negative wire on the edge of the piezo is constantly braking. I was wondering if i could strip a longer section of the wire and solder it as semi-circle around the edge of the piezo to prolong its lifespan?

I went to your website looking for the flux and wire. but I'm not seeing it. Could you direct me or provide a link?
What a legend!
