Black is beautiful. I tried to find a black Jk ended up with a silver hard rock Edition. I'm absolutely loving it. Wish I'd bought one years ago. I can't stop buying mods for it lol but I don't regret it😊It's taken me & my family to some incredible places with the best memories of my lifetime
The front bumper is a Wrangler Hard Rock Edition bumper. It has red tabs on the bumper with holes through them for D-rings. If you watch the walk around video I have on my CJ7 - I bought those tabs (for lack of a better word) that bolt on to the bumper so you can attach D-rings.
@@tcsadventures very cool are the tabs bolt on or did you have to weld? Do you remember where you purchased them from would like to add D rings to my hard rock front bumper as well
Wow, learn something new every day! I always thought that the tabs were stock with Hard Rock edition. I bought the Jeep used. After your comment I looked at pics on line of the Hard Rock and saw indeed they are not stock. I also looked on line and found what I have. They are bolt on by Maximus. How you liking you jeep so far? My 2013 JKU with over $10k in mods was totaled last week, other driver's fault. Intial offer was $24500 but they did not account for mods. Hoping to get anywhere from $26-32k. I can't decide if I should put a down payment and get a loan for a 2020 JLUR or try just pay for a 2016 Hard Rock JKUR. I really like the squarish looks of the JK especially with 35s.
An old friend called me yesterday asking the same question because he’s looking at Rubicons. We have really enjoyed our Jeep. I don’t know if you’ve watched any of our camping videos, but we’ve gotten a lot of good use out of the Rubicon in the 4 years we’ve had it. I’m glad we got the Hard Rock edition too. This one had under 30k miles on it and all the modifications by the previous owner were high end. Took us a while to find what we wanted and we found it out-of-state. Good luck!
Just saw your video, I have the identical one here in Florida. We're at about 85k miles... any mechanical problems you've had with it? So far we're good.... just wondering, thanks
Only a couple of small things. The heater stopped working and an emission sensor. Both covered under warranty. It’s been a great vehicle! We drove it from CA to TN camping across the country. Check out the video of us rock crawling in the Mojave desert. It performed really well.
@@tcsadventures wow, Hays great. It's only been a daily drive for us currently. Daughter took it to Virginia and back, for school. I'll check out that video. Thanks for feedback, and safe travels.

Great looking rig. My HR shines bright in yellow. 🤙🏽
Your Wrangler looks great, you can tell you are a real deal Jeep guy.
I am intersted in how you mounted the D-rings to the front bumper. Thank you.
