Awesome! Brain was transparent, relatable and informative. Love that he's still driven and have a mind of an explorer when it comes to God's people and ways to reach the lost. Many nuggets to glean from.
One reason so many people are willing to interview with Carey, I believe, is that he does not need to point out every thing he may disagree with them on, big or small issues. However, I suspect he may speak up if it hit his heresy radar - whatever that might be.
This guy seems to have different data and a different approach . However his facts are so different than the bulk of the leaders on this podcast. Very confusing. Not sure if you agreed with him. He also sounded like he was trying to sell his church rather than building a community. I thought church was a community of believers. It seemed like he's trying to sell his church to online people rather than bringing them in and being a part of his community. I liked a lot of what he said on other topics, but on the digital space it's very confusing comes across as he's selling his church rather than bringing people in
I attend Crossroads Columbus and I can testify that we believe in community and connection through small group and service. Our world is changing dramatically and bottom line it's a digital age. My small group is comprised of 50 percent attend in person and 50 percent watch online.

Church isn’t about lining up with the world. In fact I just watched a video where a Bible was kicked inside this church. This man has no business leading a church
