Oooo that's a brilliant idea! You can make little mini envelopes for the pockets so the money doesn't show and it's a nice surprise when they open it!!! Be sure to share your results with me when you do it. 😍😍😍😍😍
I love this!! I can't believe how easy you made it look. The tree and packages looked intimidating, but it seems very simple to do. I love creating scenes on cards and am always looking for something new to up my game. This is definitely it!!! I do have a question though... some videos I've watched about scene building suggest that you decorate the walls or background before you assemble and glue. None of these were for a box card. You decorated after you assemble. Do you think it would make a difference in this type of card? It didn't seem to be an issue for you. I might have said this before, but I am so glad I found you and your channel. 🥰 I'll bet that your family and friends love receiving the beautiful things you make.

I just love reading your comments. 😁😁 To answer your question I find that assembling before allows me to cut my paper perfectly to suit the finished assembled size so there's no background peeking out or any gluing issues like that to deal with. Except for where you must stick something down like with the pockets where I had to decorate the inside first or we wouldn't be able to get it comfortably in there. I hope this answers your question. If you need anything else explained let me know, I'm happy to help. Yes my creations are on desks, bureaus, in kitchens and all over people's houses. I love to see them when I visit. It's just such fun to create for others. My. Mom has all her cards and creations right in her living room and whenever I go it's so sweet to look at. 😍😍😍
Gift cards can absolutely fit in those pockets. Very nicely! You could even make a little miniature envelope to put the gift card in in designer paper to coordinate it and when they open is they would be so thrilled!!!! Eeeek I'm excited for you now.
