I take my portable rock saw with me . When it's big and ugly I start cutting to find the plume

Wow! That was some awesome material! Graveyard point is known for its plume agate, but that plume agate can take so many different forms and colors! That material that you got alone was so different then others ive seen from there and even the other material you got from there. Its all amazing! I love Graveyard Point Plume Agate, in all its forms and colors! Its all so amazing! And thank you and andrew for the cut and polish of that material to show just how beautiful and different that material is, even from the same rock! Its just, Wow!

The place has a reputation for some killer plume agate, so I knew I had to check it out. I'll definitely be going back when I have the time. Not only is it loaded with cool material but it's only a few hours away from Fire Opals and Sunstones. It's only a matter of time before my next road trip to that area.😉

Very awesome material! Is Graveyard Point agate in just Idaho or can it be found in Oregon too? Tons of material to be found out there looks like. Cool you could collect it all fairly easily. Hope the kiddos had a good time too. Looks like you have a beautiful yard there. It was fun watching you and Andrew both working the material. Took a nice polish. Love those bots in the material! Great video, my friend ☕

The people I ran into had buckets of agates from some spot much further than I went. I would say there is probably lots of material on both sides of the Idaho-Oregon border. We stopped here as part of a road trip to miles city. It was well worth it. Wish I could have camped in the area for a week or 2.

Most of it is in Oregon. It’s miles and miles.

Often Visit Graveyard Point and surface pick for little tumblers and such. Some beautiful jasper, agates and common opal out there, not to mention a spot to collect leaf fossils.

I'll have to look for leaf fossils next time I'm out there. Thank you. 👍

Man, that area is just LOADED with material! A few people have sent me some plume which takes an incredible polish! Do you find that it's challenging to find stuff without a ton of fractures? Good to see Rogue hanging out!

I've seen pictures of the legendary plume agates but it was all new to me. I don't know how fractured the material is out there but it didn't seem too difficult to find some cool stuff. You never know when a Rogue will appear. 🤣

That seam section should produce some outstanding cabs.
