When I first heard Lara sing her Italian version of Adagio in 1999, I was mesmerized by her incredibly powerful voice! Then when I saw a video of her singing this same song, I was captivated by her incredible beauty! I’ve been a Lara fan ever since! Un abbraccio 🤗🇮🇹🇨🇦
The first time I heard this song it was the background music to a Tribute to Rudolph Valentino. I was completely Blown away Lara has an extraordinary voice. I could listen to Adiago a million times and it never gets old. Absolutely phenomenal!
The whole "from Lara with love " concert has established such a ridiculous high standards of performance quality that it's hard to fill those shoes every time but this was 95% of that which means it was mesmerizing . 😮I love the Italian rendition . It's not so often the song is so good in 2 languages (at least for me) but here i can't choose which i Like more. Almost every Lara's performance leaves me drained out. There's no singer on this earth that can transfer feeling thru the voice in this amount. My favourite singer by far . All the best in the new year to Lara and her fans. From Lara with Love was in 2000. This one is from 2007. We are in 2023. Voice ages. Body ages. She will never sing like back in 2000. It is true for all singers. If you listen to her singing Adagio in 2023 it's even very different. You can not have the same singing voice over the years. There is nothing to do about that.
