They're in need of a new platform for these vans, back in the day the company I work for had a late 06 Ducato that was the first year of the pre-facelift of this, back then it was cheap feeling, crashy on rough roads, and uncomfortable. This does seem more refined than the early days but the platform is approaching 20 years old at this point.
Those engines I've found can't take much abuse. I used to work in peugeot and have taken so many of these HDI engines out of these vans. Company hire vans constantly came in due to catastrophic engine failure. Does anyone have any of these vans that are high mileage and trouble free?
