In our game, it’s sometimes it’s one unforeseen circumstance like the chip board floor, and one pot luck with the capping allowing you to pull down cables again. Neat work though guys 👍

Wife refused point blank to let me dismantle the old kitchen to chase and rewire before the new went in, plus it is flat roof that end. Had to cut holes like your chipboard floor in the ceiling to locate the existing cable entry for the sockets and reuse one for the cooker drop behind the new units. The fitter made a flying pelmet for me to carry the circuit across. All sorts of get arounds to keep in spec.

Can't you start high, and then chase down - let the weight of the tool help; just ensure your weight is above the tool. You seemed to be struggling pushing the weight upwards into the 'load'
