👨⚕️ BIOGRAPHY:
Dr. Md Shajedur Rahman Shawon is a medically trained early-career epidemiologist currently working in the Centre for Big Data Research in Health at UNSW. He completed a doctorate degree in Population Health in 2020 from the University of Oxford. He also completed an MSc in Epidemiology degree from Karolinska Institute, Sweden in 2016. He studied medicine in the top-ranked medical school (Dhaka Medical College) in Bangladesh and also received a Master of Public Health degree.
Dr. Shawon received further advanced training in diabetes research from the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD), in genetic epidemiology from the University of Bristol, and in global health research for non-communicable diseases from the University of Oxford. He has researched different chronic diseases (cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, cancer, obesity, and disparity in health care) using electronically linked large-scale routine healthcare data from Australia, UK, and Sweden. He is an elected Fellow of the UK Royal Society for Public Health (FRSPH) and a member of several prestigious professional societies.

From now I'll do the following thing 1. Always text in English in fb, whatsapp, any coment. 2. continue to speak in English at least with my wife though I know she being angry. 3. At every night I'll record my everyday incident in voicc recorder at least for 2 minute.

Sir, excellent! very much helpful and practical also. You rightly pointed some important fact about spoken english that in class room we are formatted within specific issue which will not be effective in spoken english. I am verry much concern about my spoken english, specifically on fluency and public speaking. I think the tool - recording of daily journaling is an effective. I can add direct video recording which will not only help to enhance my fluency but also enrich my presentation skill. Thanks again, Sir. Stay well.

Assalamu alaikum vai. I wish i found your videos 5 years back. ভাইয়া (ডাক্তার হিসাবে ভাইয়া বললাম,hope you don't mind) আমার নাম আশরাফ. 2017 তে rmc থেকে পাশ করে ইন্টার্নিশিপ শেষ করি। ছোট বেলা থেকেই গবেষনার অত্যন্ত আগ্রহ ছিল এবং আছে। ভাইয়া আমার crispr/microbiology/cancer immunotherapy এই ধরনের বিষয়ে কাজ করার ইচ্ছা ছিল। ইন্টার্নির পর বাইরে যাওয়ার জন্য কি করা যায় এ নিয়ে বহু ঘাটাঘাটি করেছি। কিন্তু বন্ধু/বড় ভাইরা সবাই fcps/residency নিয়ে ব্যস্ত। যারাই বাইরে গিয়েছে সবাই দেখি ভার্সিটির। খুব আফসোস হত ভার্সিটি তে না পড়ার জন্য।(আমি আমার পরিবারে প্রথম গ্রাজুয়েট, অতএব সঠিক তথ্য জানার জন্য আশপাশে কাউকে পাইনি)। সাথে আমাদের দেয় সরাসরি নম্বর, বাইরে চাই সিজিপিএ। রিকমেন্ড করার মত প্রফেসর নেই, নেই কোন গবেষনা করার সুজোগ ও রিসার্চ পেপার। দুএক জন বড় ভাই যারা বিদেশে বেসিক সাব্জেক্টে গবেশনায় আছে, তাদের কাছে পরামর্শ চেয়ে কোন রিপ্লাই পাইনি। হতাশ হয়ে বিসিএস দিয়ে সরকারি ডাক্তার হয়েছি। কিন্তু ভাইয়া আমি এই লাইফে একটুও সুখি না। এখনো বাইরে গবেষনার জন্য ডাক্তারদের কি সুযোগ আছে ঘাটতে ঘাটতে অবশেশে আপনার চ্যানেল পেয়েছি। তবে ইতিমধ্যে এটুকু শিখেছি পাশের পর icddrb বা কোথাও যদি অনারারি হিসাবে রিসার্চও করতাম, অনেক কাজে দিত। তখন বুঝি নাই, এখন বুঝি কিন্তু সুযোগ নাই। আপনার এখানে ৩৩বিসিএস এর এক ভাই বাইরে পিএইচডি করছে দেখে এখনো আশান্বিত। আপনার সাথে আরেকটু পারসনাল কন্টাক্ট করা সম্ভব মেসেঞ্জার বা এমন প্লাটফর্ম এ?
