Trailer is great shape. I didn't know about the concrete sealer with grit. My 32' gooseneck will be due for decking next spring so I hope I remember about that sealer.

I heard so many different opinions on how to seal the deck… I just happened to stop in Sherwin-Williams and ended up leaving with that product.

Nice review. Nice trailer too. I’d like to see one on the enclosed trailer. When I bought mine it was unfinished interior but I’ve did everything but the floor. Been debating on what to do for it. I’ve thought about doing some kind of sealer like you mentioned for your goose.

I have a couple questions about pulling a gooseneck with a gas truck. Now I do have a Ram 2500 diesel. But the truck is lifted pretty high so I use that for all my bumper pulls. I've always wanted a gooseneck trailer I have chevy 2500HD gas with 8.1l. My question is what would be the best trailer to get with that? If I could get a gooseneck?

Nice trailer. You could go diamond C on next one . They have engineered beams weigh less so you could buy longer trailer and have same or more likely higher weight carrying capacity. Or go featherlight aluminum. But featherlights are higher price point. But no rust.

I will definitely consider Diamond C if I go with the hydraulic dovetail.

Great video and thanks for the rust protection info. I use fluid film also on my trucks and so far I've had good luck. Just seen your 01 chevy and noticed the wheels looked different than the stock aluminum. Did you put a different set on and if so what kind. Love watching that truck in your videos as well.

Thanks for watching Scott! I usually run the stock 16" factory polished aluminum wheels on the 2001 Chevy. The wheels you see are a set of 17" factory take-offs from a 2008 Silverado 2500 I used to own...I run them in the winter. It's been such a crazy year, I never swapped over to my summer setup (16" wheels with 295/75/16 BFGs).

@@truckguyjoe I like the way it looks from what I can see. I just bought my 2nd 02 2500hd regular cab long bed like your 01. Your videos is what got me to looking for a regular cab. Finally found a 2002 1 owner rust free truck. I love the 01-02 HD front-ends. It's white also but not the 8.1 unfortunately. I do have a 01 8.1 truck but extended cab. But something about these regular cab long beds I really like, especially with the bigger tires like yours. Sorry to just ramble but keep the videos coming and make sure to get your 01 in afew more.

The toolboxes should be mounted directly in front of the front axle.
