I tell my students to look you up. I love your loose style. I want to teach this way, and am doing some research so that my students can have more fun painting. We paint small, but learn BIG. Dear Eric, I've been following you for past 15 years ever since I decided to pick up painting. You inspired me a great deal and I learned a lot from you. All your DVD series, as well as your other learning aids, were invaluable in my studies. After watching this video I realized I never really reached out. Let me just say that I love your work and am grateful for your teachings. As time progressed I've set out on my own path but I still enjoy viewing your work and fondly remember bits and pieces from your videos that often pop up in my head during my practice. Eric Wiegardt is a wonderful teacher and a great master watercolorist. I took a class with him at the Scottsdale Artists' School years ago and enjoyed it very much. I learned a lot, too-and I treasure the painting I purchased from him!
