My mechanic was the guy who got me into racing, and my Dad came for support. We didn't have much in way of sponsor money and I had worked after school and summer time and weekends to pay for the trip. My Dad and Mechanic friend all helped a lot. Man it has changed so much in 30 years.

Saw it from another angel here on youtube, looks like he lost traction out of the rut before the jump and knew he was not going to make it and where going to get landed on. He raises his right arm to push the bike landing on him away and then crasches due to it. The reflexes he showed right there and making sure he was not going to get hurt was very impressive. Sure hope he is ok.
