Here it is folks, we've reached the end of Guitar Hero Van Halen. I had a great time squeezing this game. It was a very different experience than other GH games of this era for reasons I described in the description of my video of Panama. Go read that if you're out of the loop. I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't have to deal with any copyright issues on this game. I'm sure I won't be this lucky in the future. I went into this game unsure of my ability to FC I'm the One, and I'm extremely relieved I was able to FC it after such a long grind. I'm the One is one of the most infamous songs in the entire series, and truth be told, I was more worried about FCing that song than I was about TTFAF SH. I thought for sure I would end up FCing TTFAF SH before this song. That leaves me with a bit of confidence leading into my inevitable long grind for the TTFAF SH FC, and the subsequent full series FC. The nerves are gonna absolutely kill me, I know it.
Thanks for watching me play through Guitar Hero Van Halen. In the mean time, I'll upload some filler videos and some previously-copyright-blocked songs with external audio. The next game I'll be uploading is Green Day Rock Band, so stick around for that. My tentative schedule for uploads will be as follows:

I also have all of Guitar Hero Live FC'd and recorded from 2015/2016. I suppose I should upload those for sake of completion. I also want to upload the 10 guitar songs from DJ Hero, and I've been mulling over squeezing Rock Band 4. Give me some feedback on if you'd want to see GH Live and Rock Band 4 (I already have a video of every RB4 song from when the game first released).

Bro this game is skyrocketing in price I got mine new about 6 months ago for like 20 dollars now these are like 60 dollars used no telling how much brand new I’m holding on to mine R.I.P Eddie

To think that first album came out at the peak of disco and punk rock. The first time people heard Van Halen was most likely on FM doing the cover of the Kinks You Really Got Me. So they went out and bought the album, brought it home, and dropped the needle. But before they got to You Really Got Me, they heard THIS!!!! There was a collective "Holy Shit!" that day around American I can tell you that!

I was there when VH 1 came out and had been playing for about 6 months, wouldn't have mattered if I had been playing 6 years as it melted everyone's brain. He did so much more than tapping there's too much to list as this 1 man changed electric guitar for the entire planet for ever. Rip EVH.
The whole eruption solo is like 16 mins long, that is a mindmeltingly long solo

I cannot WAIT for Green Day Rock Band! Although I just got the game, I'm anxious to see what all the Guitar charts are like, given that I'm sticking mostly to Bass. This is gonna be one fun game!

Surely you’ve played GDRB by now. But the bass on the game on every song is particularly easy. You want a challenge in that game then play East Jesus Nowhere on expert guitar. You’ll see what I mean :)

We need a revival of these games, this one mainly, with live concert footage in the backgrounds of the performances to add to the nostalgia for all generations and for the added viewer experience. Would make for a banger comeback game

I remember an interview where the band members said he was just doing these legatos in his solo here he did to test his guitar for problems in practice sessions. He was also fucking hosed on stage on booze I think all loose and just having a fun time. So this was him when he wasn't trying lol. That's what practice does for you. Makes you into a fuckin' legend.

Absolutely want to see you redo RB4. I feel like it has one of the most overlooked setlists of the RB/GH series. Yeah it's got some duds but the good songs absolutely slap. Plus Harmonix had the balls to put my favorite Fleetwood Mac song in a game and not The Chain so that made me extra happy.
I love how much of a completionist you are, Wise Moose! I have been inspired lately to go back and play GH1-GH3 again. I used to play back when the games came out, but gave it up for a long time. Your videos and FCs and crazy squeezing (something which CH players seem very uninterested in) are part of the reason why I’m inspired to do so.

I hadn't seen this video until it came up on my main page. Horrible loss to the world of guitar in particular and music in general. While we no longer have Eddie the man in our presence, we have recordings of Eddie, the consummate musician. May his fleet fingers and deft ear for melodies continue to bless us. Vive Le Rock.

Green Day Rockband: a breather game that's much easier than Van Halen considering East Jesus Nowhere is DLC & probably not part of the fgfc, although I would love to see you get the whole 21st Century Breakdown album FC'd.
When I was around 10 years old I was a prodigy (of my age group ofc) and I had been playing for 3 years and I wanted to learn eruptions so I made an altered tab that sounds just like the original but so much easier
