Word of advice to those using paper with only one side colored, start with the colored side up, that way, you don't have to struggle with a bit of trial and error. The instructions are great!
Actually i made one but used 2 different paper for the flower ( black and white) looks much better this way maybe if its 2 colored paper it could look even better. Anyway thank you soo much I made an excellent present super cheap and better than any gift ( except if its a car) cos i made it myself. Have to mention the assemble took me longer than folding and cutting the paper, is there any special technique or just paper dependant? When i first look at the 3 star difficulty i was like what its level 1 easy- peasy but that assemble part was not good for my blood pressure in the end i was cheating a bit and put glue on some.
I'm glad you like it, yes it would be 2 star if not for how long it takes. Yes, textured paper or thicker paper holds together better, I found either putting them together into two parts or sections of two units was the best way. It's fine to use glue to hold it, just to make it sturdier. 😀
