But generally when we sit down to play a family game- we read the instructions, bicker about how the rules go, then decide to just play and figure it out as we go...which inevitably leads to our “guesses” being wrong then trying to figure out the rules by going back and forth on what exactly the rules say to do. All while our 6 year old son is trying to follow our changes and “ah ha!” moments 😂 . This is much easier than all that and eliminates the process, although one day he’ll look back and remember his parents going back and forth over who understands the rules better 😂 memories
