I totally understand what you are going through cause even i faced soo many issues with my contractor while getting my house renovated, all contractors are same.. they just quote so much amount and take us in so much confidence that they will finish in this much time and they never complete their work and leave it incomplete and run away

Omg. I'm now starting to see the extent of the loss you've faced. As a 25 year old, even if you earned in crores every month, facing so much backlog financially is heartbreaking to see. I'm gutted about the 2500 I lost the other day and rightfully so because every penny we earn takes so much hard work. Men like Prakash need to be called out so that other ppl know better and MAYBE he can learn from the humiliation and be a be a better man.

This is just so disgusting to watch how people are so selfish that they cannot even value someone’s hard earn money. We can literally see her heart breaking, putting so much money into building her own house and making it a home just to get this kind of negligence from these frauds. I can assure everything’s going to settle all well and I wish you the best. Everything happens for good, it made you realise how things should work for your future investments and interior making for other houses to come. 💕

In short chindigiri ke chakkar mein paisa b zyada lag gaya or sab kharab b hogya . Interior designer ki bat suno ge toh hi har cheez seamless hogi, apne local contractor ko kaam dedia jisko kaam karna hi nahi ata!
Interior designer sirf naam ki hai I guess if she would have taken care of this wouldn't have happened

I remember tarak Mehta ka ooltah chashma ka one episode where jethalal and entire gokuldham society was ditched by sakharam contractor just because jethalal sponsered colours for society n that sakhram babu ne gokuldham ko bamboo bandha hua chor diya tha without starting the paint ka kaam and he made sure no other contractor took their work !!!

Interior designers are meant to plan home according to you amd design it as per ur needs and taste.. and then they hav their team they do it for u..
But yahan pr interior designer ka kya role tha and contractor alag tha i cudnt understnd..
P.S- i am someone, made homes and worked all alone since i was 16 yrs of age to now 34…. Last week itself designed and finished my home in gurgaon..
There are two types of interior designers where in one they have there Own full set of team who do all these design and construct too and there is second interior designer who only design the space and the construction part is done by your own contractor that u need to search and give the contract ! So sharah has this second one the designer was different and the contractor was different. So here so much of ghapla happened!
Sarah herself chose another contractor that her parents had suggested bcoz interior designer’s contractor was bit expensive

Honestly, the vacation that you took could’ve taken later after your house was ready, only if you hadn’t gone and concentrated on the house for the 15 days, a lot of things would have been done perfectly and not the way it is actually done.

You should file a case in Consumer Court, Money will ofcource come back, but unless that Contractor “Prakash” doesn’t learn a lesson, he won’t have any shame doing wrong to anyone else .

Oh I got so irritated just by watching in vlog and i can feel how irritated u would have been by that man ,some people are just good for nothing. Its ur hard earned money and got wasted just like even I felt so heartbroken. Always hire people from reference and look up their work and Now I think u have learned a lot
the best part of this video was setting up the walk-in wardrobe with all the beautiful bags and shoes and the house looks STUNNING!! In the end, it was all worth it.

Sarah, you should GET 2 EXTRA PAIR OF FLITERS cuz later on you won't be able to find them anywhere as they keep on changing the modules and fliters does go bad in 2-3 yrs even with the cleaning cuz it's very thin aluminium sheet.

Paint ke sath hi sabse jyada scam hota hai. Even in US cookie cutter builders use cheap paints and very bad painting. But good houses use Benjamin Moore and Sherwin William paints and all even textured painting.
