We had a lot of requests about our last video of looking for a lost waterfall of Gold in the desert th-cam.com/video/zLVuyVoNAm0/w-d-xo.html so we decided to make another video and show you guys the mysterious lost waterfall of Gold. Plus, you will get to see a sample of the Gold Nuggets that can be found there. We go on the hunt for the source of this Gold and follow it back to a beautiful, red-stained rich outcropping of quartz. The stuff Dreams are made of. Smash that like button hard because we know you are gonna love this video and for more videos on finding lost Gold mines watch this video. th-cam.com/video/Efpu7q4toYE/w-d-xo.html
Hey Jeffrow, when I release my new invention to the public for mining beach sand 10 times faster than a sluice box would you be interested in doing a video on it, I am actually looking to consult with someone as knowledgeable as you to help get this out to the public before China has a chance to respond if you get my meaning.
Even you're using clickbait. Unbelievable! You could at least give us a hint as to what state you're in For Christ's sakes. Arizona, Nevada.... Where???
I have been following you for a few years now and I can say I wish I had a teacher like you in H.S. I've learned more about geology and gold mining than I could have imagined. I've always been a bit of a rockhound, but your channel gave me knowledge and for that, I thank you. Keep going and continue to educate.
I keep my tackle at my favorite spot. When I go fishing If someone asks where I'm going I say to the cemetery to weed and clean headstones, you're more than welcome to join me...ahh there's something about having a spot all to yourself.
The gold looks real good. My step dad before he passed away told me about where you were in this video he said he walked up to a dry water fall and picked up dime sized pieces of gold just sitting there. A hand full which he lost somewhere in the near desert because he was lost for a moment. I was a kid thought it was a tall tail so i didn't listen. The way he was telling me the story was like a visual mental map his descriptions and step by step narrative. If i was actually listining to him i might have been able to walk up and get me a hand full of shine gold. I wish i had listened to him or taken him seriously. The other reason why i think he was telling me a map is because my middle name is ANZA yes after the desert. De anza borrego desert. I love the desert in the spring time when the flowers pop up and the desert turns into a painters pallet of color. You are doing a great service for humanity. Thank you. keep up the great work.
Your geology knowledge is amazing to me! And your explaining it to your audience better than anyone out there, IMO! Been watching you for years, all the back when you made some auto mechanic videos. You are a true Professor of geological knowledge!
Wow Jeff ! I second that. That was very well done ! Beautiful footage. (?) Was that thar blue/Green color for real ? (That looks like deadly country but amazingly beautiful. Thank you for sharing !)
Jeff, you’re great. I wish I had a fraction of your knowledge. I’ve been around many old mining sites and wondered why they picked the locations they do. You know exactly why…..
I have been prospecting for years, full-time since 1976. I have only just chucked it in because of worn-out knees hips shoulders, etc...etc...I have learned a lot from Jeff, things that I wouldn't have otherwise known. I like his style of thinking aloud while going about his business. So come on Jeff ''Let's Go!!''
Lol you wanna know what my dad always told me when i was younger? He said the best way to keep a secret between 3 people is if 2 of them are dead!!! 😮😮 kind of some rough advice. But its happened back in the day in some old stories when 3 prospectors found gold. One would turn on the other 2! Lets hope that doesnt happen anymore! Thank you again jeff and lila for another wonderful educational video! How do you guys not get lost out there?? The mountains where i at have no phone service which is a huge inconvienence! Our mountains are wooded, not bare like where you are. What i did when i went Elk hunting was i always looked at the shape of the mountin range where i was parked before i headed out. One time my hunting buddy and his wife thought we were lost. I looked at the shapes of the mountains at told them, "we go this way". I showed them photo of my sons standing in front of that shape on a previous hunt. It worked and we found our way back! Course a compass helps too. You are correct jeff to say, "know where you're at!" Thankyou again for sharing your knowledge 😊
Once again thank you for taking us on your adventures and teaching us geology. The problem I would have is, I would stop at the first area of heavy black sands and get so excited and waste to much time without seeking the source. Glad you push on. Keep up- the good work , love the shiny. So ..... come on let's goooo, !
Wow Jeff - this is one of your absolutely best videos - I really enjoyed how you told a story and while telling the story you provided some great educational content - your editing was great as well!
I love the two minute mark. Mr Jeff, are you making progress on a story exhibiting the feud between hard rock miners/placer miners? I know you are very very busy.
Jeff love the search for lost gold/mines, it definitely keeps the spirit alive. What's going on with your underground mine that you worked so hard on ? Haven't seen any videos on that lately?
I appreciate the teacher in you. But your passion for the hunt is inspiring. You get a feel for the old prospectors who were just as excited at finding the clues in the earth.
I had a book years ago. It's out of print now. My first copy was purchased from Roger at Rocky mountain prospector. Orem Utah. Of course a friend "borrowed" it. Years later I was working on a remodel of Elko city library. They had it. And the librarian liked me and produced another copy. I used it and yes it was my Bible for Nevada. And Jeff your absolutely right. My gosh there's a ton of treasure in Nevada. And I never struck it rich. But dang I had fun. The biggest. A lost waterfall against the rubies Indians killed them all after they climbed the water fall. Cowboys got greedy. It's in the book and dang. Them mountains are big. The book is. NEVADA lost mines and buried treasures. By Douglas McDonald. Boy oh boy. Jeff I told you once before a campfire with us together would be far from dull. From the hammered bracelet to the rabbit hole or rye patch. All these stories. And a good bottle. 😂 ❤ Keep the faith. Oh I still got the book if you want it my days in the mountains are done
Hi Rick , yes we got that same book years ago with a couple others ......and yes we would have a great time chewing the fat and spinning the yarn over a campfire.
jeff i love what you're doing keeping real to american prospectin culture. i knew you was a real one when you said not to tell anyone when you find treasure in the caves. that's good old country style
Hi Jeff, another amazing video. Always love the advice you give, the experience you share and the enthusiasm you have, makes enjoyable viewing. Have a wonderful week, Natalie🙋🏻♀🌺🥂
Again another great fun and educational video Jeff, I love the Drone footage and music that goes with it you’re definitely living the‘Dream’ and not just for you but I’ll bet a lot of you’re subscribers as well !
Hey Jeff! When you are detecting in hard pan would it help to have a small bull prick about four feet long with a three pound slide hammer on top and a 1” spade on the bottom?
I love it when it sounds like you swallowed a geologic term glossary. You would think after watching you for years i would learn something but i guess you can't teach an old dog new tricks. Keep making the vids. Love them.
I really, really appreciate your show. Your an amazing geologist. I learn amazing things about my hunt for precious deposits every Single time I see your videos. Thank you mister jeff Williams.
So amazing Jeff thank you for taking me along. I think slim is a close relation to the man who found the waterfall wink wink lol Be safe out there brother you to Lila.🙏 that some big gold big gold brings bigger gold.
Great drone footage but the geology lessons are even better! A geology rather than a biology major would certainly have increased my love and success of prospecting over the past fifty years.
I am very glad I found your channel. The geology lessons are great. As I commented once before on another of your videos, I drive a truck. I have had an immense curiosity on the way different layers of rock got where they are and why. I am always parking, grabbing my metel detector and gold pan and wondering around. I have found over the years many arrowheads, bottles, gold dust, paintings on cave walls, and junk. These lessons on the geology of what it is and why I enjoy as much or more than the actual gold stuff. Thank you very much from an old prospecting, wanna be geologist, truck driver from good ole' Alabama.
Great stuff Jeff !!!! Always love the Geology lessons . Some Beautiful scenery and Drone footage 👀, relaxing music was very nice . Top Job Buddy 👍👌✔ Cheers Ned . ✌
I can never get enough of your videos. I go on binge watching and time passes so fast... Well done producing this one Jeff or who ever. .LOL the miountain range all looks like one giant out croping. ATV is the only way to go when exploring these sites.

So exciting searching for treasure and especially when you know what your looking at/for. Love the information you impart in your videos... very valuable stuff...Knowledge is power! :) Cheers. subbed.
Jeff, I have always been what they call a big sky person, always aware of their surroundings. The geology of Newfoundland is similar to Arizona rich in minerals, a part of the Appalachian Mt range. I love watching your videos, and most of all your explanations. The TCH cuts across the province, and on a recent road trip the rock cuts through the central NL mineral belt, will never look the same to me again. Thank you' for sharing your education. Cheer's H

Many people equate money with wealth. The value of a life well spent is the life itself. Money is how you keep score.
If you want a swimming pool you don't need gold, just tell everyone you found gold in your backyard
I would never tell a soul. That's right up there with telling people your favorite fishing spot.
And don't spend a penny of it until you get it all.
😂 idk if I'd be able to come off my favorite fishing 🎣 spot...
I keep my tackle at my favorite spot. When I go fishing If someone asks where I'm going I say to the cemetery to weed and clean headstones, you're more than welcome to join me...ahh there's something about having a spot all to yourself.
