That was a very nice rural trip...you mentioned that people and history used to think that Russians were backward country peasents... most people that I know and that have a knowledge of history never think so...we also used to have large invasions in northern Germany, the Vikings also pillaged and stole from us...there was a large Slavic invasion-migration over 1200 years ago into northern Germany and the Baltic region...if you read my last name, that might give you a hint...my point, all Europeans suffered at the hands of vicious invaders... The history book seems to differ with you and said that Poland, Germany, Hungary, Bulgaria, Bohemia, Croatia, and Georgia were the main kingdoms with the brave knights who drove back Batu Khan's invasion hordes from the East.
