I think it's wonderful that you two enjoy getting up early and seeing the sights in the early morning sunlight...that's when many places are at their most beautiful...plus the crowds aren't a distraction. I feel sorry for the ones who sleep in, go have breakfast and miss so many wonderful opportunities to see nature at her best.
Thanks for sharing with us Adam and Abby the views today were magnificent. Keep having fun and stay safe. We are enjoying your trip. Fred. 🙏🏻🙏🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻✋🏻✋🏻
THANK YOU both for your hikes so we can see such beautiful views of these great National Parks we are blessed with. I lay here, with my oxygen, taking deep breaths with you, as you go to the next overlook. I look forward to each adventure like it was to be my next adventure with you both. Remember there are thousands that follow you for a reason.....that you both are down to earth and get excited at new adventures, from viewing a new rock formation to machining a new part....
I echo the comments from below. Thank you both for a fabulous trip. I am half a world away from all these natural beauties, though I have the opportunity to visit the Grand Canyon. I love Abbi's excitement at something new.
I’ve heard it said and seen a photo of a Bristlecone Pine that is said to be the oldest living tree in the world. It’s location in the desert southwest is kept secret. IIRC. I wonder if you have seen it.
Hey! I have an idea, move your shop out here and I'll go to work with you. Machinist for over 45 years. Glad you like Utah. I've lived here since 1983 and never regretted it. FYI, you're not alone about getting a 2nd home here because housing prices have skyrocketed over the past few years. Utah, where they have the greatest Earth on Show. And great people.
Where does the electricity for Bryce Canyon come from?...You know, where is it generated? I followed and mapped some power lines on Google Earth and for the life of me, it seems as if there exists some sort of SECRET FACILITY inside of a mountain. Two Power Switching stations, no Transformers, just switches. The power lines all seemingly end at dead ends in the middle of nowhere. There's some sort of (Water?) silo reservoir (33 foot diameter), 0.43 miles south of Camp Lutherwood , not indifferent from an oil storage canister of a petroleum refinery, at the top of a mountain, with a segment of power line running to it , and in the middle of nowhere and connected to nothing as per power generating facility. There is a gravel road (at 37deg 28' 59.60"N, 112deg 30' 06.02"W), that is 0.40 miles in Where does the electricity for Bryce Canyon come from?...You know, where is it generated? We were there May 24 just after sunrise; no one around then, too. By 10 am the park was packed and there was no parking left. Bucket list check ✅

No, because said specimen of tree is in California, and Adam and Abby have not been there yet on their trips.
