Honestly, it kinda scares me the thought of being alone the rest of my life. Like, I feel like I might not realise that I missed my last opportunity to make friends or start a family or anything. Its definitely not something that I like thinking about.
dude, there are so many people from your school who would trade anything for the position you've made for yourself online. From how you act and portray yourself, your a very social guy who will probably be invited to college parties despite not going there. Don't stress about it because I know that for you, it will work out.
It honestly feels great to graduate high school because I felt annoyed when I had to put up with a lot of annoying students and some teachers, while others didn't want to leave high school, I felt a sense of relief when I left high school since almost everyone I talked to other than a couple of nice people were mostly annoying to me and it has gone to the point where I don't want to talk to them again or never want to see them again, and don't get me started with how many times I have been asked if I want to go to college immediately after graduating. Another reason why it feels great to leave high was because I didn't have friends when I started high school back in August 2020, and it does not compare to the memories I have made back in middle school. If anyone wants to know if I'm going to college, I will go to college next year because in a month, I'll get a job so I don't stay home everyday.
Last night, I had a long and serious conversation about this exact topic with my mom. I’m 18 years old and I’ve just completed my first year of college. My first semester went “great.” I reached my first 1K month while maintaining a 3.77 GPA and making great progress in the gym. However, my second semester did not go as planned. I got really ill at the beginning of the semester, so I fell behind from the start. I ended up injuring my meniscus, which made it hard to attend my 9 am math class, which is across campus with no sort of transportation. I also had a really bad experience with a professor and ended up failing basically every class. During the semester, I began to really resent school and, for the first time, seriously considered leaving. None of my short, medium, or long-term goals have anything to do with my university, and the only reason I’m still in it is because my mother has a very hard-nosed approach to education and believes that I need a degree to breathe oxygen. I’m terrified of the risk of taking a gap semester or dropping out because what if I don’t make it? But it will be exceedingly difficult to make it while being in university. I love the people I’ve met in college and I don’t want to leave them, but my business is one of the most important things to me. I love working on it. I’ve always hated the education system, and being dyslexic just makes it 10x harder. I literally have trauma from having undiagnosed dyslexia and seeing how the education system treats you when you’re not meeting expectations every semester, trimester, quarter, etc.
@@SozioTheRogue They're not necessarily wrong, but there's a lot of variables to consider with each and every individual, and what one person's path is might not be what another person's path is. This is why I feel like nobody should push college, the workforce, or trade school as the "right option" because we're all different and have our own aspirations.
The concept of "college" is one of many pyramid schemes to screw you over by forever tying you to the govt. through 100s of thousands of debt for useless information a search engine could spill in seconds for free. They systematically brainwash you into their idea of a "worker ant" "good citizen" whilst manipulating you into throwing your life away for a piece of paper that for 7/10 jobs in the U.S isn't needed for hire... find a trade (go where the demand is), read up on real estate, sales, entrepreneurship, communication & managing personalities, find the right connections, & don't spend beyond your means. That's how you beat the game
3:03 to me it’s the opposite. I felt more left out in college than I do when I’m working my job. College is literally the same experience as high school just with adults. No good memories were made in either college or high school except for the friend group I stayed with since high school. I couldn’t stand being in that same experience again when my high school years were depressing to say the least
Nah that’s crazy he posted a video after he graduated. As a Gen z who graduated in 2021, I’m in community college and honestly I don’t want to go a university or college in general but I do want to go to trade school for medical assistance. And yes as soon you graduate you’re life is so different, all my friends are living in their own place and I’m at home at 21 but I see it as a good thing cause I don’t have to pay bills or get groceries. I do feel behind in but my friends tell me not to rush to getting my own place or getting my license because it’ll come in its own time.
@@dwadeisthegoat2020it’s ok to be scared but keep on trying even if you fail study hard and keep going trust me I never like school myself but I still push myself so keep going man. You got this
@@dwadeisthegoat2020 same but i graduated in 22, took 2 years of community college, and now i am going to the university for accounting. i took my general classes like math, science, and english etc. but this year i am going to take some business classes and see how that goes.
I ship out for the army in a couple of days and I completely agree bro. I didn't know what exactly I wanted to do right after high school and I didn't want to plunge myself into debt off rip, so I set a goal for myself to become an Army Ranger. I feel great joy knowing i'm not forcing myself to do something hard and unpleasant because I feel forced to, but rather that this is what I desire. P.S. Good luck you guys we aren't cooked yet, no matter how much you see people panic on social media about how our generation is cooked, we gotta at least try and not give up because it seems hard. Set a goal for yourself and find out what you want and who you want to be in this life because you only get one of them.
Facts, I’m a college student and am graduating next year, my advice to anybody wanting to pursuing college is to try to get a scholarship, it doesn’t make sense to be in debt in the beginning of adulthood, when you need to build yourself up.
I’m currently 21 and own one rental property, and a cleaning business. Lot of the folks in my group went off to college, and I’m making more than they’ll make coming out of college. Chase what you truly love (for me it was entrepreneurship and finances) and the money will follow.
It’s absolutely insane to me that you and the people graduating right now were in 8th grade when the pandemic hit. I was a freshman in college. Can’t imagine how odd that would be
Sincerely, congrats on graduating and congratulations on 500k! you already started your own career and that's impressive in itself at your age, not even saying about how successful it's been. Again, congrats! 🎆👏
I understand where you’re coming from. Of course college is a really really stressful thing. Life is an extremely stressful thing. Sometimes you don’t know what you’re gonna do especially if everyone in your circle already know what they’re gonna do. I know I felt the same way, but I found what I wanted to do is coming, someone about to head into high school in August and I do realize I really have to walk in. I’ve been an honest student all my life, but it comes with the expectation for me because I’m an immigrant. My parents want me to go to college and I’m going cause I want to but the toll it takes on you is crazy so congratulations and I hope you continue to make this great contact
i've been lonely in the way you described it since 2016 where i graduated, it definitely put a void in my heart I feel robbed of my teenage years because I just wasn't able to live like a real teenager and i am still acting like one sometimes because i never really was able to live that.
Gonna say this rn, As one who lived during 2020, I had to complete the rest of my high school in virtual school, i did it, but i don't even feel as if I could call my graduation a graduation. Everything just felt empty. Just being at home all the time for like those last 2 to 3 years. And don't even ask me what a prom is, I couldn't tell ya.
I picked up my diploma at school like a fast food drive through order during covid. Got a virtual graduation seeing all our pictures on tv… No graduation for us in 2020.
I can relate to this so much bro like I'm lost af in life about to enter my 3rd year of college doing starting over with a new degree after not enjoying chemistry
Yeah I was about to go to community college for engineering but turns out that without my own car there was really no way to get myself there reliably. So, now I’m going to a way more expensive 4 year university cause it was the only other one I applied to and because my sister is going there too. I decided I want to start with Spanish here since I hate math and Spanish was the only class I really enjoyed, but now I’m feeling like I might have screwed myself over big time

I’m about to turn 27, and I believe that the period right after high school can be one of the most challenging and overwhelming times in a person's life. Many people follow a set path because it offers a sense of direction, but I've noticed that several friends who went straight to college ended up dropping out or struggling to find a career that supports their independence. Often, they lack practical work experience and hold degrees in fields like psychology, which may require further education to unlock their full potential. Also, I suggest if you have no idea what degree to get, try to get a business degree. You can do almost anything with it.
I’m also class of 2024, and I’m still not entirely sure what path I want to go in. I thought I’d go straight to college in the Fall, but now my interest has changed. If I do plan on going to school in the near future, it’s only going to be after I take a longer break. I need more than 2 months of summertime b4 I go back to school, highschool rly did a number on me🤦♀️Great video man, glad to know I’m not the only 1 feeling this way❤️
I graduated 2 years ago and I'm in university, it's pretty shitty and I just wish I never got pressured into going. It's so depressing and painful, the loneliness hits hard
Congrats on graduating ! I graduated high school in 2021 and a lot of the things you said are true. I decided to go to college to play basketball and study exercise science and physiology along with sports medicine. I’m one year from graduating with a bachelor’s degree, and I don’t regret it. My advice to anyone who may read this is that if you do go to college, make sure it’s something you really enjoy and can set you for a good career in that. It’s ok to not have it all figured out right out of high school, but if there’s something you’re passionate about go for it. Me finding something I enjoy and something that can make me have a good career has opened many doors for me, and I hope and pray doors can open for y’all. Good luck !
Before deciding weather or not to go to college you should find your passion and decide what type of legacy you want to leave behind. Some steps will always be uncomfortable but that uncomfort is to keep you locked in and if you can get threw it you can achieve greatness. To the rest of the class of 2024 persevere threw the bad because by the end of it we can still change the world.
Hey, Class of 2018 here. College can definitely get lonely too, especially if you're going off to school in a different state or country. It was that last one for me. But to be honest, it mostly depends on how you decide to spend your time outside of school/work, if you have time that is. Now how useful college is for most of us normies that didn't do STEM, well, that's a different question😅...😩
I graduated last year and am still figuring shit out I didn’t go to college because I had an internship overseas but I ended up not being able to go due to safety reasons. I spent like 9 months in depression and loneliness while everyone was living it up in college and figuring their life out but I’m starting to figure it out. I’m pursuing a career as an airline pilot
Guy in the video here, I just wanted to say thank you so much for spreading the message I feel that everyone needs to hear and what is really on everyone's minds when stepping on that stage and being handed your high school diploma.
My parents want all their kids to go to college, my older brother is the only who doesn’t want to, he plans on going to trade school, and my little sisters do because their tuition is paid for by the state of Georgia
Nah i really feel the lonely part. I moved in with my dad last summer (from VA to TN) and did my senior year of High School down here. I’m a shy guy so I didn’t make too many friends and now that we’ve all graduated AND im not going to college i definitely do feel alone I’m really just existing waiting until I can pursue my career. I’m planning on joining the Air Force not necessarily because I WANT to but because it’s really the best route for me because I plan on utilizing the free opportunities while in then getting out and making a bunch of money because of the experience and stuff I gain while in. But yeah it is pretty lonely after highschool when you don’t go to college; just wandering aimlessly trying to find the best direction for your life. I feel like college isn’t only good to “extend your childhood” but it also gives you 4+ years to figure out what you want. Remember that as teens (im 18) we literally are NOT DONE GROWING our brains aren’t fully developed and we’re supposed to literally choose our careers and paths in life. It’s crazy, but it’s part of life I wish us all luck🙏🏼
When your on that grind that nobody else could handle, you wont see other people will you. You wont see people with you on the grind, and you wont see nobody at the top. Stay on that grind, you will make it if you stay on that grind. If you choose the grind life instead of the average bum life, you will be different, but only because you are the GOAT. Remember that.
My advice as someone who started college a year after my peers is to have a plan. Don’t go to college unless you’re dead set on a major. Have several backup plans. As well as finding out what is your learning style and what the best environment is for you to learn in. Go to community college first before signing your life away to a university. Associate degrees can get you pretty far in the US. Also, check out Western Governors University and Purdue University if you want to get an education at a reduced time and cost. But again, find out what you want your major to be.
I went to college and was lonely the entire 4 years (1½ during pandemic). Now I cannot even find a job related to what I studied.. If I knew it would be like this I would've just not went to college. Maybe I would've just gone to trade school, and then do whatever I'm actually passionate about on the side.
About to enter my senior year, and personally my highschool experience has been shit. A few good days, a bunch of meh days and mostly bad days. I can’t exactly see myself going to college for an ‘experience’ that I’ve never even had during highschool, much less desired.
I graduated college in 2018 and i knew college wasn't all that's crack up to be halfway through my 4 years. I didn't have it nearly as bad since i only did community college but i stil had to go through trying to make something of myself. Im 28 and just now starting to progress in the world.
Junior in college here! I can definitely relate to that feeling of being left out if I didn’t go to college. So that fear ushered me into college and I have to say I’m deeply dissatisfied and disappointed in how the last two years of my life has turned out. I’ve made zero college friends. I have no fond memories of going to a college party or even taking part of something fun on campus. It’s just been a dull experience of driving to campus (commuter also) getting coffee from a pod market then reading and studying till class starts. Just so I can drive back home and do the same thing the next day after. It’s like I’ve been on autopilot since I got there. I hope and pray that no one else feels like this. To the class of 2024, best of luck to you all in what you pursue next, I wish you peace and happiness.
I’m 14 in high school doing TH-cam this video has opened my eyes to the world after school I will remember this video one day and say this is the video that changed my prospective of life after high school at an early age
I’m in college and it’s still lonely. It’s just the times and part of adulting. You’re going to lose more friends than you gain. It sounds depressing but reality is like that sometimes
Broo I can relate to everything you sayin but unfortunately for me I have African Parents and I had to go to Uni and Im hella lost, lonely and depressed but at the end of the day we gotta keep pushing. Congrats Bro Im happy for you man. Love from Namibia ✌ ✌
I am 23 years old. I graduated HS in 2019. I got kicked out of the house and tried to go to college despite not wanting to. I worked full time and within a couple months completely failed out of the JC. I ended up enlisting in the Marine Corps and recently finished my four years. While I was in I went to college and I now have my bachelors. I only went bc it was free and I don’t feel like I learned anything. I would be very upset if I took on debt… Moral of the story, I totally agree brother. Everyone’s path is different. I feel so distant from people my age, largely bc I’m a veteran now but also bc I live in my own pad on the opposite side of the country (from CA living on the east coast now), and work a full time job with the government. Everyone’s simulation after HS is based on decisions made. If you go to college with the intent of learning and becoming like a doctor, full send it. If you go to a school bc of boobies and beers, probably not wise.
In 2023 I went to College for spring semester and I was depressed and lonely asf, I feel less Lonely and depressed working my ass off at my Warehouse job
My parents were always chill about me being out but now they just don't gaf not because they don't care its because they trust me and what not but still feels weird
Class of 2022 here. I went to college, and I was still lonely and depressed I'm not happy I'm lost, and I'm very envious of all my friends because they got it all figured out. I'm the dumb ass who doesn't know what to do. I'm not going this August I'm gonna join the work force to see what I can do to achieve happiness.
I’m gotta be a junior next month and hearing all of this just makes me scared because how hard college is and i agree with you, you don’t need college to become successful there some other ways to do in your life. But my parents consider it.
I will always say, go to college to network and build up your social circle. That’s the best thing I got out of college. You get to meet people from all walks of life and you never know who gon be helpful for your future and vice versa PS: Tennessee State where it’s at💪🏽
About to enter my senior year, and personally my highschool experience has been shit. A few good days, a bunch of meh days and mostly bad days. I can’t exactly see myself going to college for an ‘experience’ that I’ve never even had during highschool, much less desired. Loneliness is my go to. I guess this next year is supposed to be me figuring out that loneliness.
When i graduated i was in the pandemic which felt 10x more lonely and miserable. Started online college but realized i only did it because family pressure and the feeling of failure. But my love of animals got me into my career as a pet groomer and now i made myself a new purpose in life to help others pet parents and animals alike. So i feel that from 18-20 was toughest for me but now at 22 I know what I want.
My parents pushed me to go to school right after high school and I was stressed and wanted a break. It ended up not working out and i ended up back at home not doing anything for a long time. In the end it I was a lot better then a lot of people. Some people pay a lot for school but end up not finishing it. So they have student debt and still don’t have a decent paying job. It only really pays off if you finish your schooling and find a decent job. But you still you have to pay off debts for many years to come. Where if you just look for jobs or accept every job request and only change jobs when your offered a higher paying position somewhere else you will probably end up better off then the person with a ton of student debt. If I had a son or daughter and they wanted to work full time instead of going to high school I would let them. Why? Because the years of school and money end up not balancing out properly.
You dont go to college to party, you go to college to get a degree and provide for yourself. To survive out there by yourself when your caretakers pass away
Mad respect for you for your vids and your message about being alone and telling us that we’re not the only one it’s good to hear, so thank you man. Keep doing what you’re doing!
Well I don’t really feel lonely all that much since I prefer to be alone most of the time, but having to live up to expectations and standards just pisses me off. I know that the people who are closest to me just wants what’s best for me, but they never get off my ass as soon as soon as I tell them that I don’t want to go to college, they just force it on me and expect me to listen and go. Thank god my folks are understanding and aren’t like most parents where I live who just cage their kids instead of setting them free to do their own thing.
Class of 2024! I haven’t done anything after graduating at all. I guess you could say that I’m a NEET. I plan to go to work soon. The loneliness, emptiness, purposeless, and realization really hits after graduation. Friends drifting away too. And I know it’s only gonna get worse from here.
Thanks so much Cloud9 ❤❤ Had rocky beginning and my siblings and mother were toxic surrounding education and performance in life. After graduating high school in 2022 I moved in with my Father and worked at Supermarkets. Well, "worked," happened for several months and then the difficulty of performing adult labor was isolating and painful. Before graduating HS I applied for a financial aid loan which was local for my county. Because that I had financial help when I actually joined Community College in Spring 2023. Moved back in with my Mom, and she's disappointed, but I believe Comm College is not completely unsuccessful. Because I was committed to it for about 2 years, In December 2024 I will get my Comm Coll degree. My family even let me apply for financial aid at a Uni for the 2024-2025 term. All of this to say graduating high school and starting college has a different time point for everyone. I know comm college pupils that graduate when their 28 years old. The important thing is to make a legacy for yourself, whether it's financially, artistically, academically, or from athletica. I'm starting the long process of getting a Bachelors by December 2027, and I'm working to improve my life. Bye. Have a good day Cloud9. 🎉❤
Graduated a year ago and ngl the place I work at still feels like high school cuz there’s a bunch of teens and the supervisors feel like my guidance counselor 😂😂 (oh and btw I feel like I learned more outside school then in school😂)
I’m class of 2019 from high school. I never went to college cuz I wasn’t interested in it and honestly I’m always depressed not finding any guy friends to hang out with. Just stuck in this lonely world except I have a gf and we been together for a year coming up.
I’ve had personal experiences where I’ve decided that solo dolo is the best option at the moment, but what’s really important is building a deep relationship with yourself because how can you even know anyone else if you don’t know you
I also graduated about a month ago but I'm heading the college in Japan. Not gonna lie, I also feel lonely and lost, because I'm a east coast boy but thank you for this video. It made me feel better.
Graduating in 2021 this vid sums up exactly how I felt and how I still feel kind of. Everyone made graduating high school seem like such a big deal but there wasn’t really much talk about what happens after once you graduate. I was always big into sports but didn’t really play in high school to get a scholarship or anything because of family and personal issues. High school was a pretty tough time and by the time I finished I was done and wanted nothing to do with school. I ended up taking a year working on and off before I decided on starting community college. My first semester was alright nothing crazy, second semester was trash so I took a semester off and just focused on working. I ended up going back the next semester only to question wtf I was doing there. Now I’m currently working a full time job that I don’t think I want to be doing for the rest of my life. Tuesday I have a meeting with my academic advisor I’m thinking about continuing school to be a veterinarian, we’ll see how it goes.
Congrats Cloud! I graduated in 2023 and you're spot on when it comes to the lonely bit. Besides the few friends I have in college, the only other friends I still talk to is my small group from Highschool.
I just graduated from high school in may. I’m agree that it is lonely, but I’m lucky to have a great group of friends that support me. I plan enlist in either the army or Air Force, and get a job that I can transfer to the civilian world.
I graduated HS in 2018. I was in community college but the transition was too surreal. I had night classes and worked in the mornings, but as a 18 year old working amongst middle aged people was way too weird…and knowing I had to be at school at school after Ali ate dinner when other people my age were out enjoying their evening upsetted me for a time. Took me a whole semester to get adjusted to the new adult life, but personally as the years went by I accepted being an adult and mentally and physically developed myself and matured. I do miss the social environment of Highschool, but I feel I became the person I wanted to be…more outgoing and not afraid to talk to people and developed better confidence in myself, something I didn’t have as a high schooler.
After finishing high school i did 1 year of uni, had a great time and made a lot of new friends. But during my break after my first year i interviewed around and essentially got a job offer that was too good to pass up. So all of my friends from school and uni go into their 2nd year and i left that to work in an office in an industry i had always wanted to work. but as time goes on i felt lonely and missed everyone, they would have fun on campus while i would be 19 working with a bunch of adults not even close to my age. i would get home and be too tired to go out, and over time i would lose that connection with my friends or our friendship would not be a strong as it used to be. im still glad i took the job but it still wonder how different things be if i stayed in uni.
As I can say, after graduating high school, you do be more lonely and have less people around you due to everybody going down their own route and stuff like that. As long as you doing things you wanna do in life and enjoying yourself you’re gonna be fine. Congrats to 2024 seniors🧑🎓🙌
Modern loneliness isn’t just an issue caused by being your age and not going to college. It’s a broader issue with western industrialized society right now. We’ve all been atomized and community has declined
graduated 2 months ago and i really feel lost. i don't know what to do with my life or what i want to do, dont really have friends, overall life is just boring. as much as i hated being at school, it did give me something to do. but now thats gone and i just dont know anymore
Hi Cloud, I also recently graduated from high school, and I have a lot of friends going off to college. I myself am pursuing a career in HVAC. Every adult I talk to says it's the correct move because I am getting a jump start on life, however once the falls comes around, I do believe I will start to feel lonely. This video is relatable af.
I was actually just graduated from high school as well and for a while my top choice university was Vanderbilt. I got to know the campus, spent a few weeks there for educational camps and I really loved it. But I realized halfway through that it wasn’t really all that. We get told day in and day out that we need college no matter what but after actually experiencing what a top college feels like I can’t say that it’s worth it. Don’t get me wrong it’s a good school, but these types of schools attract a certain type of people that are typically rich or feel a sense of entitlement to what they have. There are some goated people on campus and some good communities but there’s always that underlying sense of hyper competition on campus that stresses people tf out. That and the massive cost of attending made me reconsider my options and now I’m going to my states flag ship not out of a false sense of prestige but because I genuinely liked what they had to offer and what I could gain from it. At the end of the day you just have to find what’s best for you. If it’s college, then it’s college. If not, then just find your passion or something that can help you make a living. We don’t all fit the same and we’re all different. Don’t drink the kool aid, and just do what’s best for you. I’m feeling you on reality hitting though. Adulthood doesn’t feel nearly as good as I thought and at points I wish I could go back. 2024 up though.
I’m also class of 2024, though my college route is a bit different, as I’ll be getting my bachelors in software engineering in early 2025 through sheer hard work. And yea, I feel what you’re saying, you miss out on being a kid and now you have to take life seriously now, but honestly it is quite fun as well.
If you're not going in the college with a bunch of buddies, you're going in alone. And on top of all that the projects, do dates, and assignments suck But you can stick through it through the first semester. . . You got a slim chance, that's along going to say
This makes sense. Graduated from high school 3 years ago, started working straight away. Thank goodness i still have my closest friends with me and i don't regret it. Only thing is that you do grow up much quicker before other people that went to college
Nah my mom said that collage is too expensive so she said i should go to community collage for 2 years than i said I’ll just save up money and go to like a bigger collage. Also i got like the triple triad of mental disabilities which is autism(got the ahh burgers one), adhd and ocd so I’ll get some help/advantages.

dude, there are so many people from your school who would trade anything for the position you've made for yourself online. From how you act and portray yourself, your a very social guy who will probably be invited to college parties despite not going there. Don't stress about it because I know that for you, it will work out.
What a coincidence, I graduated from high school two months ago
Same bro. Finished and felt a serious sense of doom
@@noname-ed2un same lol
same bro life goes by so fast. I feel like it was just yesterday I was a freshman.
Any advice for younger ppl
Life has many ups and downs. There are seasons where you feel like this but eventually it will come back around.
College is still a viable option. It depends on what your degree is tho

They're not necessarily wrong, but there's a lot of variables to consider with each and every individual, and what one person's path is might not be what another person's path is.

I graduated like two months ago. It was pretty overwhelming and now I have a high school diploma just collecting dust on my desk.
I also graduated in 21. I want to go for accounting but Im just scared of failing tbh.
@@dwadeisthegoat2020it’s ok to be scared but keep on trying even if you fail study hard and keep going trust me I never like school myself but I still push myself so keep going man. You got this

Welp.....bit late for that(just graduated)

I’m currently 21 and own one rental property, and a cleaning business. Lot of the folks in my group went off to college, and I’m making more than they’ll make coming out of college. Chase what you truly love (for me it was entrepreneurship and finances) and the money will follow.
I’m 21 too working a full time job to make about 2500 a month on a good month.

I need more than 2 months of summertime b4 I go back to school, highschool rly did a number on me🤦♀️Great video man, glad to know I’m not the only 1 feeling this way❤️
Did u figure out yet because I’m in the same thing as u
Oh shit it is you 😂. Gonna check out your channel. Seems like something I get.
everything u said deadass resonated with me so much if any1else relates to this please reply and lemme knwo
You gotta try and link up with people that relate with you, you won’t be so lonely if you hang with people you mess with
Currently going to community college. Finished my first year, going for a medical career congrats, to all who graduated this year.
I literally thought he was like 20 something 💀

Congratulations man
I graduated college in 2018 and i knew college wasn't all that's crack up to be halfway through my 4 years. I didn't have it nearly as bad since i only did community college but i stil had to go through trying to make something of myself. Im 28 and just now starting to progress in the world.
college is a safe option though especially in state if you chose a good major
7:46 SAME BRO. Then again my dad was more of the chill one in general.

I would be very upset if I took on debt…
Moral of the story, I totally agree brother.

Gen Z got hoed from the jump by our parents
This hits closer to home as someone who lives in TN, has graduated, and is considering college.

Just graduated high school 4 weeks ago and going to college soon, all I can say is unc was spittin tdy
congrats gng
Class of 2019. Got my associates degree in 2022 and now dropped the semester to help my parents out.
Modern loneliness isn’t just an issue caused by being your age and not going to college. It’s a broader issue with western industrialized society right now. We’ve all been atomized and community has declined

The biggest plot twist ever is finding out this dude was in HIGHSCHOOL!!
Honestly what am I doing with my life 🙃
I’m also class of 2024, though my college route is a bit different, as I’ll be getting my bachelors in software engineering in early 2025 through sheer hard work. And yea, I feel what you’re saying, you miss out on being a kid and now you have to take life seriously now, but honestly it is quite fun as well.
If you're not going in the college with a bunch of buddies, you're going in alone.
And on top of all that the projects, do dates, and assignments suck
But you can stick through it through the first semester. . .
You got a slim chance, that's along going to say
“Class of 2024 how do yall feel not going to college” yall didn’t even start yet 😂😂🤣🤣🤣
This makes sense. Graduated from high school 3 years ago, started working straight away. Thank goodness i still have my closest friends with me and i don't regret it. Only thing is that you do grow up much quicker before other people that went to college
Also taking debt to get into college didn't settle right with me
Nah my mom said that collage is too expensive so she said i should go to community collage for 2 years than i said I’ll just save up money and go to like a bigger collage. Also i got like the triple triad of mental disabilities which is autism(got the ahh burgers one), adhd and ocd so I’ll get some help/advantages.
2:57 that’s why I talk to random people on the street to make friends, if people think I’m weird for it, I couldn’t give two shits
DAMN. I just graduated 8th grade and I'm going to high school but this video makes me realize how fast life is moving
I moved out and started a 60 hour/week job at the railyard in my senior year. that sealed the deal for me
Congrats my boy🎉
Class of 24 here… I didn’t want to go to college and decided to join the Air Force and I’m gonna make the best of it while I’m in
