Giannini 350 GP: RWD Fiat 500 w/ Alfa 4C Engine & Push-Rod Suspensions!!

- I recorded this extreme Fiat 500 at the 2017 Best of Italy Race event last weekend and it's called Giannini 350 GP Anniversario.
The car has been conceived and realized by Gram Torino Engineering in order to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the famous historic Italian tuner Giannini (very popular in the Sixties & Seventies).
Of course almost nothing remains of the original 500: starting from the external look, the whole body is made of carbon fibre, huge 19'' forged wheels and Brembo brakes (six-piston calipers at the front, four-piston calipers at the rear). The 350GP is powered by a tuned mid-mounted 1,750cc turbocharged engine taken from an Alfa Romeo 4C which is able to reach 350bhp (power that can manually be adjusted from the inside), released to the ground on the rear tyres. It also features pushrod suspensions with Öhlins coilovers both on the front and rear of the car. The one you see in this video has a manual gearbox but the 350 GP could also have the double clutch gearbox from the Alfa 4C. Fully customizable but no more than 100 will be built starting from a price of 150,000€.

I visited Giannini factory here in Rome ,where i live,Giannini during 50/60/70 used to tuned almost every model of Fiat,but during the 90's Fiat become a little bit fickle with his car,because Giannini proposed some prototype like Fiat punto tuned ,or a seicento tuned,turbo panda, but the Fiat didn't give the approval,so they ended to make car .
I think that Fiat prefer Abarth,sadly to say
Frank Giannini also used to build AMA / MotoGP superbikes. I still have an R-1 he built when I was racing 20 years ago. I have the exact same logo on my gas tank.

Sfortunatamente quest'auto non è nata a Roma ma bensi a Torino,perde un po' del suo fascino.. /sadly this car wasn't built in Rome,where Giannini factory is located,instead they builted it in Turin;it lost a lot of allure

I'm all for a wide body kit, bit this looks stupid. If you wanted a car to mod this much, they should of chosen a more suitable car. It's mot even like the 500 has a good starting point.

Il suono dello scarico del Giannini e'molto migliore ( anche se migliorabile ) dell' Abarth ! D'altronde i Turbo hanno un rumore di merda ( vedi Subaru), dovrebbero lavorarci un po' di piu' per rendere lo scarico piu' umano !
