I absolutely looove Le Chypre. I have tons of 5ml samples from Alexandria but only 12 full bottles. I love this house . I’ve never been a fan of Baccarat Rouge 540. It’s a nasty synthetic. But Alexandria’s dupe of 540 is spot on perfect. I own Dark Knight and love it too.. But you need to check out Alexandria now, they have so many more beautiful fragrances. DUA is my second fave next to Alexandria . The problem with DUA is their frags are weak and don’t last. Not all are like that but most. I was Very impressed with DUA’s MFK Oud Satin Mood extrait version. It’s 99.9% close and it lasts all day, I regret not buying more bottles coz they have been sold out for 8 months now and doesn’t look as if it’s coming back. If u love Oud Satin Mood extrait, and u see DUAs version for sale, trust me buy a bottle FAST. Buy 10 bottles Coz it will sell out fast and trust me u will be able to sell them on eBay. I’d pay double for a bottle if I could. It’s that awesome. Le Chypre too is a masterpiece imho . Must own . Not ALL of the fragrances they dupe are awesome but most are. If you ove Baccarat Rouge 540 extrait or edp you MUST buy Alexandria’s dupe, it’s 99.9% spot on. Don’t bother with DUA’s versions , they’re not even close. Their version is nice but not even close. I like it coz DUA has created a BKR 540 dupe that I actually like coz I don’t like the original. To me it’s a nasty synthetic that all I get is some sickeningly sweet cotton Candy smell, but it’s a fake plastic cotton Candy. Hard to explain but not pleasant. I know many ppl love it and honestly I don’t get it, when u ask ppl why they like it they say it smells sweet. That’s stupid, lots of much better fragrances smell sweet . A much nicer sweet than BKR 540. But to each his own. I hate it.

I also got told by a female co worker who usually loves everything I wear to work that reflection man (The actual fragrance not the clone) made me smell like "old lady" lol I wasn't offended either because I somewhat agree. I blind bought it years ago and have mixed feelings about it.
I very much dislike when "TH-camrs" tell us when and what seasons to wear our fragrances. If you love Dark Knight so much but only wear it once a week during the "Season" and get compliments left and right then why not wear it more in all seasons...nice try.
If you don't understand how certain fragrances pair with certain seasons and occasions, then you just don't get it. You can enjoy any scent any time you want, of course, but these reviews are obviously for those who have a variety and have designated scents for certain occasions.
I love Alexandria frags but they suck at shipping. I placed my order and paid 10 days ago and they haven’t even mailed out my package yet. That is unacceptable
I’m not sure what their deal is but I know other companies who are competitors, bottle their fragrances as they are ordered so it could be taking them a while to get your bottles produced. Other than that, I’m sorry to hear you’re having issues with them... hope the fragrance makes up for it!
boxinglegend2011 I honestly know more about dua than I do Alexandria. But from what I have from Alexandria.....they are all great! I’d say go for it. A lot of people swear by them.
In my honest opinion, it has a smokiness and boozy feel to it that just ever so slightly leans masculine. However, I can absolutely see a woman rocking this stuff because of the versatile sweetness it has! Hope that helps!

Hey Anthony. It's October 2021. Now the best alexandria fragrances are black panther and afternoon splash. Both great clones.

Its literally a scent for Fall or Winter. Some Scents are designed for the day, some for the night.
