The sentry is a god for crying out loud he would wipe galaxies clean in seconds with even a fraction of his powers.

I do agree that Omni Man could hold the power stone, and that gave him a temporary advantage against Sentry. But once he dropped it, Sentry ended him easily.

But looking over some of his comic incarnations I think their are versions of superman that would either be equal to or possibly overpower sentry like super boy prime, super man blue, or pre crisis superman , golden age superman , or silver age superman...
But to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that you only know superman through the animated series or the snyder-verse and assume based on your general lack of knowledge of his comic feats and say yes...
Based on that alone Superman would possibly be stomped by mcu doctor strange let alone sentry as he's seen in the comics...

Sentry actually has more crazy levels of abilities than Omniman. Omniman is nothing but a superman's minor version with just super speed/power/flight. Sentry can emit powerful energy blast in various form. From eyes, from hands, even he can burst it like an atomic bomb. And he's more than just a powerful alien. His power comes from the myth. He's also powerful telepath and he can manipulate molecules and he can recreate himself from death. Unperishable. And when he's on the void state talking about his power is meaningless and he can possibly destroy a world so easily. I think not even superman can win Sentry.

Even without the Gauntlet he has feats like: destroying planets, ragdalling heralds of Galactus, holding his own against beings like Odin and Tyrant, tanking a blackhole that spaned several Light-years, tanking blows from power gem Thor, ect.
All of that was without the IG, 616 Thanos consistently scales above High Tier Bricks and Heralds whom are capable of Planet Busting, Destroying Stars, and Creating Blackholes he would be more than capable of slapping Omni-Man even in recent times where they seemed to of toned him down a bit.

Never learned just how powerful Sentry is but I'm aware he's definitely more powerful than Omni-Man. I once read a line that Sentry had spoken, saying his power was like that of "a thousand exploding suns".
and that is nothing, his a reality warper, a very very strong one, his literally one if not the strongest heroes in marvel if his not constantly downplayed and the author doesn't use his powers

It's not Suns, it's Super Novae. And their only classified as "Super" Nova. Their more powerful forms of Nova's.

WOW! That Sentry model is better than mine. Did you make that yourself? Overall, this was excellent! Especially the airplane scene.
I can’t wait to see the production get better in the future, because I like the idea of the videos and stuff, but when I watch it, there isn’t that feel of weight, it doesn’t feel like anything has weight at all, and when Thanos was holding Sentry’s head it just looked a bit weird.

It's ok, but... Sentry should literaly walk through Omniman. Some people don't even understand how overpowered sentry is.
When Avengers approached his "God" form (Combined with Void), he reminded them that they did not stand a chance. And they just gave up and didn't even fight him, letting him go. Thats just crazy knowing that avengers never give up.

Didn't Norman Osborn refer to Sentry as "An Angel of Death" when His avengers was fighting The Asgardians. IF that's true than Thanos W/ The Original Guanlet can Kill Sentry because it was written in The Infinite Gauntlet Series than Thanos was more Powerful Than Death.
Highly debatable, Omni man would be a non factor here and Sentry is arguably the only superhero who could have a chance on a 1 v 1 against Thanos. I'd say that if its unstable then Sentry would lose but if he's stable he may win. It's a 50/50

Omni man could never beat Thanos with or without the gauntlet. Thanos has greater physicals, greater combat speed and greater hax. Both Thanos and sentry could beat him easily. Ruthlessness dosent equate to power and/or skill
