People seem to skim over the fact that Terapagos straight up tried to murder Kieran. Being obsessed nearly ended up with him going the same way as Sada, and our Koraidon took the attack this time. Thought that was kinda cool. Also that Crystal Pool scene pretty much told us that Terapagos was causing time travel across different dimensions/timelines, and that meeting set into motion all the events of the game, including Sada ultimately dying
@@rustedbubble4756 he straight-up targeted Kieran, I don’t think it was a coincidence - he was the one to first rudely awake him, then caught him in a masterball and forced him to battle, and *then* forcibly terastallized him. Terapagos was definitely pissed with Kieran and wanted him gone
Maybe but than again Kieran was the closest person to him so maybe that's why terapagos attacked Kiran we don't know game freak will probably never explain
Also just a little tip for BP farming, redoing the flying time trial once per difficulty gives you like 800 BP, and every rest area has an npc like the league reps in base game that reward you for doing battles in their specific biome, BP ( around 100 per i think) and a TM. Between the two you can cut down quite a bit of the grinding required to get all the starters unlocked.
There is a Garchomp stellar terra that opens the secret path in there where you saw the other crystal door. Its a little tricky to find, its hidden in a cave in the spiral leading to the water part before the ending. The cave is near the begining of the spiral after the crystal bridge, go up the wall and you find the cave. At the ende of the cave climb the crystal pillar and circle it and there is another cave with the garchomp. Once defeated the door opens and inside is a bunch of terra shards, and some Tm's.
It should have been where Briar was going to investigate area zero without random children, Kieran hears about this and decides to secretly follow to catch terapagos, carmine and the player chase after to stop him. Would have added more tension that was missing compared to the end of the base game in my opinion
That would've been better. Arven should also have been part of it in some way, maybe you'd pick him up to help chase Kieran when you return to Paldea since having 2 people familiar with area zero is better than one or something?
I feel so sorry for Kieran. I've stolen his most beloved Pokemon Ogerpon (even if I got a Mew, douzens of shinies, two Koraidons, Paradox Pokemon etc) but it's just so cute and I needed it. Then destroying his reputation in front of douzens of people. That must be hard but getting Ogerpon it doesn't feel too bad
After base ScarVios story being as good as it was, there was too much of a hurdle for just a DLC story to cover. It’s a nice capstone that answers several of the lingering questions, but not all of them, and it drives me crazy. Still, I really loved and enjoyed this game as a whole, despite its many flaws. I hope they go all in on the BW remakes and eventually Gen 10. The bars set high for those of us who love and appreciate the pokemon worlds lore and stories. ❤️
Yeah, loads of unanswered questions, maybe the Mythical event will add something? Not spoiling, but yeah I really wanted more lore. Just my expectations though, the terrarium is a ton of fun, and I love having all the starters. Story here felt bare bones though, I wish the original 3 companions would have come too (at least Nemona and Arven given their strength and connection to professor respectively). But yeah, just my expectations, still loads of fun.
@@lizk2378 With the mythical - I didn't know he was mythical at the time - I truly expected him to pop up either as you defeated Kieran or later on when you unearthed Terapagos, figuring that he sent the Lousy/Loyal three after the masks because of the Tereastral energy, and since Terapagos is the source, he might go after it. IDK everything feels rushed and slightly incomplete, too many unanswered questions, like what the heck is Terapagos anyway and why does it cause all this crystalization and the terastral phenomena? What created the great crater? It seems that the Time Machine is actually a time machine, but how does Terapagos and tie in to time travel, he's not Celebi or Dialgia... I'm kind of almost mad at myself for expecting all these questions to be answered...
you should totally go back to the deepest zone of area cero, and then read the notes in the desk at the begining, and you should also talk to Draiton a couple of times in the club room and challenge him to a battle, trust me you wont regret it
So I could be wrong, but I THINK there might be new stuff back in paldea after the indigo disk, it could be something I somehow missed even though I have been all over the place since beating the game, but after going back to the main lobby of the base game academy I had a new quest for team star.
It's just the team star sidequest, after which Atticus appears in Porto Marinada to sell some unique apparel, and one small line of dialogue from Arven after you get Sada's scarlet book.
22:53 i bet they reffering to main game events. We kinda indeed went willi-nilli just because Arven wanted a closure and Turo/Sada appeared out of nowhere with Miraidon/Koraidon. Im not sure that League did know about professor AI thing.
I imagine the only reason they let them go to area zero is becaue they knew you were there and that the time machine had been deactivated. They said they didn't know you were there but I feel like they were stretching the truth a bit. Edit: I think the roaring moon spawning there was a fix in an update. I think it was always supposed to be able to spawn there but didn't due to a coding error. I coule be wrong though.
It was interesting seeing someone actually use an entire vgc strategy and team for a main story battle, but having an entire vgc strategy going in and not just building up and rolling with it as you go just seems kind of boring to me. I do love vgc though, and a little strategy you can use in play through are fun.
If you go talk to Arvin with Sada/Toro’s copy of the book he will make a comment about it you have to just progress main story post game and finish all character friendship quests and interactions
I was there but fallen asleep to you wandering the caves lmao. edit that came off bad, I meant it was simply the middle of the night for me lmao. u are very entertaining. u llost to my bodily needs tho hahah
22:34 ... did you forget that Area Zero is a restricted area that only Champion level trainers can go to and even THEN need heavily trainer personnel and loads of permission to go down there and we went down with just other kids? Atleast now the students are on the level of Champion and have permission. Going before was like going in a Tiger's den without anyone knowing.
There will be one more bit of story that will be added when they distribute a new Key Item next year, and some people are already getting it through hacking or unexplainable means
in the room behind the crysle is around 20 items and you need to kill a steler tera garchomp in a cave neer the loopy road as soon as you enter the loopy circle fly around the wall on the right then go through it and navigate around to cristal poles the around the second one there will be an entrence to a room with tera garchomp kill that then go back to the cristal that was blocking you that you tried to get into that will be gone so yeah thatnks for all the great vids

In every Pokemon game, why is a world-shattering threat solved by a ten-year-old kid who had just moved to the region and received his first Pokemon yesterday?
I had to wait til I finished the main story then come back and watch this. I dawdle way too much. I wanted a shiny Archaludon and Litten before I moved on in my story. Now I have to go find a shiny vullaby. But I completed the main story now so I'm good.
While I enjoyed the story for what it was, I agree with the sentiment that there should've been more. Perhaps A-0 set expectations high the 1st time around.
Pokémon should really start having these opponents escalate to your level. Of course the battle is going to be easier if you’re challenging Kieran with Pokémon eight-levels higher, lol.
I have never done it ever as I simply battled/grinded and enjoyed myself in the previous generations when challenging the Elite Four and the Champion and never used any berry or other items to affect stats ect. 2 things:
1) Kieran's team has an average level higher than Cynthia's BDSP team
2)There's a special line of dialogue if you use Ogerpon on your team
There is I used it and it said you brought up ogerpon
I used ogerpon when I battled carmine at blueberry academy and carmine said hey ogerpon did you miss me

I heard that your Pokémon can get a mark if you use it to pickup items in the Terrarium
This is true. It is called the item finder mark, and when you send your Pokémon out it says “______ the Treasure Hunter”.
It doesn’t have to be I. The terrarium, it can be in the other maps too
They made that update a couple months back, you can get the mark picking up items with your mons anywhere not just terrarium.
I did not see that secret ending coming, wow, that was amazing
As soon as you said the PM7 guarantee I hatched a shiny charmander😂
