wow my dad bought me all 4 when i was 8 it was the happiest day of my life lol, thinking of it my childhood was amazing, best cartoons, pogs, playstation 1, internet and ipads didnt keep me in my house all day i was outside riding my bike and playing basketball with the neighborhood kids....PROUD TO BE AN 80'S BABY!
I had the big blue shark and the guy with a drill nose as a kid. Man, those were some well done action figures. Always liked the rubbery skin on the sharks themselves.
OMG! Thanks so much for uploading. This trailer was one my old Street Sharks VHS before the episodes. I loved it! Ecspecially how it showed the characters in live-action which we never saw in the show. I had Blades and Big Slamoo. :D
i remember this advert on the street sharks vhs tape.i wanted a dr piranha figure so bad.but on christmas my auntie in america found a dr piranha in a charity store and shipped it to the uk for me.i was so happy :)
JAWSOME! Me and my siblings used to have most of those (the Street Sharks, the lobster and that Orca that entered later), but the coloring was completely different from both the show and those figures in the commercial.
I watched this commercial since i was a kid and i don't know why Dr. Pirahna turned humans into huge creatures half human half shark "Street Sharks" i was getting confused but after that i think it was good commercial 10 stars out of 10⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
@metalheadpariah666 They were made by the same company, at about the same time. During the last season of Street Sharks, they also did a crossover. The dinosaurs had a different origin story (they were dinosaur-like aliens, instead of how they were originally mutated dinosaurs) but the designs were the same.
@Entertainedful If you check the Wikipedia entry for "Tom and Jerry", under the "Feature Films" section, there's a bit about it. Apparently the movie will be "an origin story that reveals how Tom and Jerry first meet and form their rivalry before getting lost in Chicago and reluctantly working together during an arduous journey home". Warner Bros has said they want it to be their own "Alvin and the Chipmunks family franchise". Yeah...
Street Sharks were the bomb! My favorite was Moby Lick, though he's not in this commercial... And that robot doctor human guy looks effing creepy with his shark face in the live action portion of the commercial.
+rouge1ful This was made before the show, and they also called Slamu "Big Slamu" even though he's never called by that full name in the show, so I'm guessing things were changed somewhere between the creation of the toys and the creation of the cartoon.
OMFG i defenently remember that comercial as a kid after that i watch the show and that how i remember those JAWSOME sharks damn i shoulda want those toys anyway 90s rule
@lmckay023 Yes, they are doing Yogi Bear. It comes out December of this year. Dan Aykroyd is playing the titular character and Justine Timberlake is playing Boo Boo. Their CGI designs look like theme park mascots. The script was written by the dudes who wrote "Tooth Fairy". My brother noted that there's some weird trend of taking plotless, goofy cartoons and making movies that parody the series itself. Please, Hollywood, knock it off!
These commercials were the best! Too bad the show wasn't any good... I watched their commercials and ate their pasta, but I sure didn't buy their toys or watch their show.
I actually missed the toyline when I was a kid, though I saw the tv series pilot when I was in about fifth grade (I always wondered how they were so calm about turning into sharks).
You know, I read on an article on IGN talking about Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure, and when they mentioned Terrafin (the shark guy) they said "Remember Street Sharks? Well this is much cooler than that crap!"
i had ripster man this show was sooo awesome i just rememberd what the name of this show lol i remmber i used to watch this extreme dinosaurs and biker miace from mars they wer the best shows wen i was a kid well them along with banana man ahahah that was awesome
@MrScream305 Why can't we go back... =( But thanks to TH-cam, we can relive SOME of the shows, gotta love Street Sharks, Mega Babies and Mighty Max just to name a few, good times
DAMNIT! I MISS THE 90's!!!!!! Everything about it...the quality of the film, the special effects..... makes me miss my childhood
wow my dad bought me all 4 when i was 8 it was the happiest day of my life lol, thinking of it my childhood was amazing, best cartoons, pogs, playstation 1, internet and ipads didnt keep me in my house all day i was outside riding my bike and playing basketball with the neighborhood kids....PROUD TO BE AN 80'S BABY!
And they were such great quality for the time period
I had the big blue shark and the guy with a drill nose as a kid. Man, those were some well done action figures. Always liked the rubbery skin on the sharks themselves.
Man, I do remember these toys. I remember all the boys in elementary school being really into "Street Sharks."
I used to make these and my extreme dinosaurs fight haha
I remember seeing this commercial back in the day and saying "They're gonna make a cartoon out of that."
Wow how clever of you. Guess you want a sticker now or what?

I had these as a kid. 90's were the best!
Toys back then where better!
Oh man, this takes me back. I used to LOVE tha Street Sharks.
Wish I still had mine :( good old memories as a child... Am 26 now and God I wish we could live in the 90s again.
i want street sharks back
I had these as a kid, although watching the ad now it reminds me of that movie Small Soldiers
I still have most of these dudes in a box in the shed. Oooh the memories.
i had so many of these, includeing bends. i was always watching this advert over and over again.
When I saw this commercial as a kid I shit my pants.
Oh man - this is the perfect example what identifies ANY kids commercial from the 90s: The token boy with his hair parted down in the middle! xD
Jawsome!!
you are absolutely true!!!! i was thinking the exact same thing m8 :) those toys were the coolest things created by man at the time xD
I remember playing with these as a kid. The one with the roller blades was my favorite :3
Street Sharks is awesome & I used to have them figures back then
I got one of these ACTION FIGURES for christmas when I was 8 years old... I still remember kids at school being jealous.
You practically needed bolt cutters to get through all the twist ties and tape.
Best Ninja Turtles Clone Ever!!!
this was the shitttttt back in the day
These weren't shit these were the most popular toys for its time... Tsss. Asshole
man i still wish i had mine.
JAWSOME!
Me and my siblings used to have most of those (the Street Sharks, the lobster and that Orca that entered later), but the coloring was completely different from both the show and those figures in the commercial.
Agree! They also gave Biker Mice from Mars a reboot. I'd love to see this series with one. ^^
This commercial RULES
JAWSOME commercial
I will never forgive my sister for flushing one down the toilet..but i showed her that's why Betty spaghetti is no longer with us Muwahahaha
hahaha the 90s were so EXTREME!!
Hands down the 90's where the best years EVER!
I wonder how many kids actually made them fight with their Ninja Turtles figures.
I watched this commercial since i was a kid and i don't know why Dr. Pirahna turned humans into huge creatures half human half shark "Street Sharks" i was getting confused but after that i think it was good commercial 10 stars out of 10⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
aww man I use to have these back in the day
I miss theses things!!!! Most are now in eIther in a land fill or with my moms family in Mexico ahh good times...good times...
OMG!!! the weirdest tranformation: men turning into shark toys hahhahaahha XD aaahhh my childhood, these was one of my best memories :)
see a special with real people would have been hilarious and totally worth watching haha i love this show
I had Slammu, 90s fucking ruled the world with toys
@metalheadpariah666 They were made by the same company, at about the same time. During the last season of Street Sharks, they also did a crossover. The dinosaurs had a different origin story (they were dinosaur-like aliens, instead of how they were originally mutated dinosaurs) but the designs were the same.
I want a live action movie of this...NOW!
Zer0Mercy83 just not be directed by Michel bay
A shared universe with TMNT?
Nah, too much nauseating CGI.
I remember this commercial scared the hell out of me! O_o
i loved this advert, would watch it over and over again, although was always annoyed they called Streex blades.
@NeoNaziMexcanJew The commercial shows the Series 1 toys, the Killer Whale (Who was named Moby Lick) was Series 2.
My brother had the toys when he younger and we still have them!
i remember this commercial...i had to get them! ah memories
omg i used to have all of these :O nostalgia
Nice. Is it just me, or was this commecial surprisingly well done for a toy line of the 90s?
indeed the stuff they can produce with a computer is Awesome these days
i remember watching this as a kid ^^ although i don't have any street shark toys i still have my Haxx toy from Extreme Dinosaurs ^^
@Dubster80 Well, Extreme Dinosaurs would make more sense than Dino Squad does. XD In any case, I agree. A reboot would be jawesome.
@Entertainedful If you check the Wikipedia entry for "Tom and Jerry", under the "Feature Films" section, there's a bit about it. shesh i had so many of these 90's toys. cant believe my mom gave them all away =(.
My parents wouldn't let me buy them.
Saying "what junk" Oh the memories of childhood
Yes! Those were the days lol
I miss my Street Sharks toys . . . :|
Did no one else notice the announcer got the name wrong at 0:32? It's Streex, man not Blades
From what I understand, the character was originally named Blades before they changed it.
+rouge1ful This was made before the show, and they also called Slamu "Big Slamu" even though he's never called by that full name in the show, so I'm guessing things were changed somewhere between the creation of the toys and the creation of the cartoon.
street sharks are flipping awsome
@NeoNaziMexcanJew No, the killer whale was one the company made (the character's name was Moby Lick). It just isn't in this particular commercial.
OMFG i defenently remember that comercial as a kid after that i watch the show and that how i remember those JAWSOME sharks damn i shoulda want those toys anyway 90s rule
these are the toys that I never got, when I wanted as a kid :(
Ha, Moby Lick!
I used to have that one, and I'd freak out my sister with his Lashing Tongue!
I really enjoyed the cartoon. Andrew Rannells (Bladez or Streex) and Lee Tockar (Ripster) were awesome!
this had so huge impact on me when I was a kid_:D
Oh, I see. Cool! :)
hahaha this made me so jealous at kindergarden when i saw kids having those toys and i didn't xD
They kick some serious fin! LOL! 90's rule!!!
THese things are dope, i used to have the tiger shark and the crab. my bro had the hammerhead.

I have had one of them as a kid .... great :D
And i defeated the bad guy
I actually missed the toyline when I was a kid, though I saw the tv series pilot when I was in about fifth grade (I always wondered how they were so calm about turning into sharks).
I fucking loved these toys as a kid
You know, I read on an article on IGN talking about Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure, and when they mentioned Terrafin (the shark guy) they said "Remember Street Sharks? Well this is much cooler than that crap!"

They just don't make toys like they use to.
I want that shark costume!
Yeah, a darker series for this would be really cool! There was a lot of potential. Unfortunately, most of it was dropped or ignored.
i had ripster man this show was sooo awesome i just rememberd what the name of this show lol i remmber i used to watch this extreme dinosaurs and biker miace from mars they wer the best shows wen i was a kid well them along with banana man ahahah that was awesome
Haha Deliverance stlye!
@MrScream305 Why can't we go back... =( But thanks to TH-cam, we can relive SOME of the shows, gotta love Street Sharks, Mega Babies and Mighty Max just to name a few, good times
