@@zanethind that's alright. We're allowed a guilty pleasure once in a while. Overall message is quite wholesome 😊 no disrespect meant. Just being goody
one that didn't make the list, the 2019 heel turn of the Kabuki Warriors: before the turn, Asuka and Kairi Sane were struggling to break through as a main roster women's tag team, Kairi more so due to her being freshly called up from NXT all while Asuka was already an established name that had her WrestleMania match stolen from her by Charlotte and also lowered herself down to tag division to help the main roster rookie out as a fellow Japanese wrestler, plus being managed by Paige (aka Saraya), things weren't working so at Hell In A Cell, Asuka spit green mist and boom, the team turned heel and the rest was history, it bonded Kairi and Asuka better and they ended up making history with the longest reign in WWE's Women's Tag Championship history and when Kairi returned to WWE in 2023 after leaving in 2020, a Kabuki Warriors reunion worked due to the big sister/little sister bond Kairi had with Asuka and also with Iyo joining them via both Kabuki Warriors joining Damage CTRL which Iyo was apart of with Dakota Kai & Bayley, and Kairi got her own "Little sister" back in Iyo as Asuka's older then both Kairi & Iyo and Kairi's older then Iyo and Younger than Asuka and Iyo was younger then the both of them.
To be fair, it wasn’t JUST the Hell in a Cell match that was what led to Seth’s heel turn. His championship run wasn’t really working up until that point. They did the awful pairing of him with Becky against Corbin and Lacey Evans that went longer than it should have, then there was some hot potato with Lesner with the championship if I recall. His babyface championship run was just kinda bland. The Hell in a Cell sealed it, but he was headed that direction anyways I think
It was a fine decade as a whole for sure. 2016 had a good year for SD, 2017 too wasn't all bad. 2018, 2019 is where it really fell off. But for 2013 and 2014 tag team wrestling on Raw and SD was alive again and the whole DB movement helped. 2015 was a meh year. I watched 2010 and it seemed fine. But 2011 and 2012 I feel like it fell off bad. The only thing good was the Punk storyline
Glad more videos like this are made. Because it's more truer now than ever. Today we look back at the old stuff and think "oh hey that wasn't that bad and it was somewhat good". We continuously do this every day. That's wrestling for you
Austin's heel turn and aligning with Vince didn't bother me so much as did him teaming up with triple h. That left me scratching my head like "huh??" They were great together, but, we literally just spent the last 18 months watching them try to murder eachother.
Why does Simon talk like this now? I haven’t watched for a while until recently but he’s doing this thing where he stretches the end of certain words and it grates me for some reason😭😂😂. Not up in arms but am I the only one that’s noticed that?
I always feel bad that we think of Heel Austin as the clown. I think Two Man Power Trip Austin was scary as hell and had legs...except HHH ripped his 😂
The reason for Jake Robert's heel turn was right in his own words "I'm a snake. Never trust a snake." (Personally I've always found that distasteful and a perpetutization of a negative stereotype against our ophidian brothers and sisters, but that's just me.)
aj styles turned heel when he faced roman reigns after mania. his matches and promos against roman solidified him as a main eventer. that happened BEFORE his matches with cena.
Erick Rowan was great addition to heel Daniel Bryan
I agree
Should've got a push if only they booked that fake rubber spider gimmick
The Rock being heel wasn't dumb in 2003. I can't believe people actually didn't like it. But his biggest heel turn is making those movies 😅
Evil I'll
Especially tooth fairy 😄
@Travis-jj8ln lol I actually liked that movie
@@zanethind that's alright. We're allowed a guilty pleasure once in a while. Overall message is quite wholesome 😊 no disrespect meant. Just being goody
@Travis-jj8ln 👍
Best heal turn I saw was Micheal Owen against Argentina in the world cup

Didn't work, it turned them into jobbers meanwhile Saraya made her big comeback in AEW
10:58 - Bryan wearing a T-shirt with a message like THAT on it is what *always* made him an uber-heel to Vince McMahon...
When Michael Cole had a better rated match than Sting in 2011, its pure criminal.
i dont know if you know this. wwe beat wcw in the monday night wars. just a reminder.
I don't think Dave was thinking
@@stingrey1571 and they did it again for TNA in 2011, just to show Bischoff was not booking material.
Elias pitched the Monday night messiah. Vince said no. A few months later Seth pops up with the gimmick.
5:17 Rocky should have come back for one day to fight Punk
Never forget: Rikishi did it for the Rock before he debuted

03 Rock was mofo cooking indeed
Having Roman reigns as champion
*WWE in 2010 was the best year not decade*

Simon Miller is great but the smake that bit Macho Man was a cobra not Damian
Exactly. It was Lucifer

He sounds like Chills now
These dumb (but we don’t want to admit were genius) videos can surely be spaced out a bit more in the upload schedule right??
Simon is the Best ! 💪🏼💚🍻
Hulk Hogan being the 3rd man
The rikishi heel turn actually didn’t suck as much as I thought it would except for the angle that was offensive
That Cole entry was a hell of a stretch
Loved The New Daniel Bryan
I always feel bad that we think of Heel Austin as the clown. I think Two Man Power Trip Austin was scary as hell and had legs...except HHH ripped his 😂
True.
7:49 a box-like structure?
It's a joke. Something Michael Cole said/was instructed to say at WM 37 that Simon has worked into his own unique lexicon...
@tomseville2345 Yes I know. Simon himself didn't say that in this video.
Also punk should’ve been booked so much better from 2012 to 2014
I know I'm in the minority, but I thought the hemp WWE title belt looked really cool.
Bayley?
🎉
Big Quiche sent me 😆
Rikishi should've changed his attire. You can't take a guy wearing a thong seriously.
Tah Tank Ah
fiend was absolutely terrible
Ta-TANK-Er ??...
Heel Daniel Bryan was great. His matches against Lesnar and the fiend are just classics.
Bray Wyatt Turn Heel Eric Rowan Luke Hyper The Fined give him money Vice McMahon Donald Trump President Karma Harris 2024
Tom Zink?

Stone Colds Heel run was just awful.
I loved it!!!
Awful with some good moments
Stone Cold gave Lita the equal opportunity treatment.
@ibnjones6605 yeah
It really wasn't though. As a kid I hated it, but watched it again recently as an adult and I loved it.
The most annoying announcer in history was tazz on tna when he was with aces n 8s
Biggest heel turn I ever witnessed all time was Kevin Durant joining the Warriors in 2016 after losing to them in the playoffs
Stone Cold heel turn was still botched & failure
I agree
first
Simon miller the guy who doesn’t like women’s wrestling wants a 2 hour show complains women don’t get enough screen time for there storylines 😂🤦🏻♂️.
These weren't genus. They sucked and shouldnt of happen
You still don't want to admit it, it's ok you'll grow up soon enough😂😂
Can’t wait for the debut of Coke-Kane!😝
