+tim watley There is a story to that… We were driving north on CA State Hwy 1, having just seen Donavon Frankenwriter play a small show at Boo-Boo Records in San Luis Obispo. It was a gorgeous summer afternoon; the windows were down and Fields was playing on the stereo. As Rope and Summit came on I remembered someone gave me a pair of solar glasses, so I put them on and watched Venus transit the sun to this incredible track at 65mph, my hair blowing in the wind, and a huge smile on my face. Life can be so fucking amazing. It was an was an awesome moment in time that comes flooding back every time I hear this song.
