One of my favorite features is the action mode where you can move and it’ll keep the camera straight. Like example you’re running. It won’t show your camera shaking. I also love the dynamic island.
I love this thing! I use it for professional television commercials has become cutaway b-roll cam. It's incredible The cinematic settings of course you don't want your f-stop set too low you get the cheesy glow for the artificial depth-of-field but if you set it around four or five it's incredibly realistic. Go iPhone also I'm probably the only person in America that keeps the phone in a waterproof box with no service and uses it only as a video camera. LOL
One other thing I would do in regards to the camera is go into photographic styles in settings and switch it to Rich Contrast, then in the camera app, drop the exposure down to -0.3. It makes a big difference to your photos.

Once setup to the way you like it, it works seamlessly and is very useful.

i went from the base 11 to the 14 pro max im having issues with it though but i think is because my old phone wasnt updated all the way my apps and games stutter glitch stuff like that and closes out of apps or does some random stuff so im taking it to my local apple store and seeing if they can help me with it if they cant im probably going back to my iphone 11
I also went from 11 pro max to 14 pro max. It wasn't nearly as drastic as my previous jump, a 6S Plus to the 11 pro max. I like the camera. LIDAR assisted autofocus is just amazing.

Do you think having live activities on all the time will affect battery health? Not drain the battery’s charge faster, but actually cause the battery to degrade? I know it will probably cause the charge to drain faster, worried about degrading the battery.

My iPhone X battery just got swollen and I got an excuse to buy a new phone. Imma miss my old phone but I do want that huge screen for my TH-cam videos while at work 👌
The always on display has one problem. It isn’t always on. I thought it would be nice when i get up in the middle of the night I could just glance over at my phone on the beside table and see the time but nope. It isn’t on. Bummer.
i got my 14 pro max as a christmas gift from my dad last year and now i have dropped it twice by accident at the bottom its ok you cant see the crack but on the left side lower on the screen you can see the crack
I've got mine on 08/04/2024 brand new! The battery is superb!im from 11 pro max and this uphrade is superb. In my country, 14 pro max is no longer offered as brandne, we dont have exact apple store... Only authorized resellers. It sucks, since they do have iphone 14 and iphone 13 available on their store but no any pro or pro max version aside from the new iphone line up lol
Upgraded because I am an Apple fanboy but the 14 Pro is super disappointing. Camera looks worse in some instances compared to the 13, the notch was less intrusive, and dynamic island is not very dynamic.
Been a week since I have my iPhone 14 pro max and it’s the best thing ever I used to own s22+ and honesty this is a upgrade everything is smoothe and reliable the battery last at least 14 hours with heavy usage/constant usage when I barley use it I get 2 days the stand by time is super go I use aod with black wallpaper and the battery drain on aod is sometime 1% every 6 hours or nun at all the phone stays on 100% for a hour or more then stays on 1% for a hour or more honesty I hated Apple by after trying this phone I have to say I am never going back to Samsung 😊
But what this fella ain’t telling people using the lock launcher specifically to do with favourites it take a few seconds to actually open the app & it opens the lock launcher first which causes it to take a few seconds still cool
dont have an iphone 14 pro i sadly switched to iphone and did no research so i bought the 13 mini, if i would have done more research i would have 100% bought the iohone 14 pro for 1 feature the action camera

It’s not a gimmick but it’s not useful right now. At least not on a daily basis

i think battery usually degrades mostly from heat. So try to avoid using your phone when charging or anything that causes it to heat up.
