Kevin made a simple critic that is pretty understandable if you know anything about food, and I kind of agree with him. However, that does not mean that Ripert's croque monsieur wouldn't be tasty, because I can guarantee you it is.

I am vegetarian but there is vegan fish and caviar. If I own a resturant I might take the caviar out since its very expensive and if I am vegan and I have to make it that will be hard. this was a amazing dish

+Kavryel He's trying to say 1 - 2mm but it looks more like he's cutting it 5mm. I know that's still way less than half an inch but... just saying.
I think it's definitely more then 1 perhaps two, but half a centimeter is thicker than this.
Kavriel I think they meant when you get the cut from the fish. So like when he laid it down, it was between 1 and 2 inches tall.
