This is how David Rudder's "Permission To Mash Up The Place" came about the following year on the 10th Anniversary Calypso Music album by Charlie's Roots featuring David Rudder and Tambu on lead vocalists on the Lypsoland label from 1987! There's some similarity between the 2 songs "We Come To Mash Up The Place" and "Permission To Mash Up The Place". Ace mastermind genius Pelham Goddard & Charlie's Roots and sound mixing engineer Eric Michaud! Other members as well t like he late guitarists of Junior Wharwood, Tony Voisin, Vonrick Manyard and etc. Best brass band that ever existed!
I would love to know how David Rudder and Christopher "Tambu "Herbert got along . They sang well together and seem comfortable in their own skins , confident in their individual abilities. However the dynamics when they begun was different as at first Tambu was the sole lead singer.
