    Hurley the best coach in sports right now- just love everything about him- smart, hard working, no bs, loyal, wonderful family, could go on & on- he is truly inspiring.

      He’s a dick. He abuses his players, makes me super uncomfortable. Unacceptable behavior to these students on the team. Should be a safe place for them, but instead he’s a raging psychopathic lunatic who has the largest ego in the world. Disgusting vile human being who shouldn’t have a platform to speak on, we need to stand up for this and silence him. He’s disgusting, just like Donald Trump.

    One of his beat qualities is his willingness to give credit to those around him and clear the air on questions people won’t ask. Guy is a class act.

    Big respect for Dan. A lot of coaches have just taken jobs for the money before and it doesn't work out for anyone in the basketball aspect

      yeah that beautiful weather year round and all those beaches sure would have taken a lot to get used to. Just because the job is LA. doesn't mean you have to live in LA. plenty of great surrounding places like Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, Manhattan Beach, beautiful areas family is probably the biggest reason he stayed but believe me a couple of 80 degree days during the winters make it much easier to get used to. But good for him.

    Not a UConn fan but Hurley made the right choice of staying there with the Huskies. I mean, turning down a $70 Million contract to coach in the NBA is a big decision. But it's all about loyalty and Hurley is loyal to UConn.

    Now we need to let the man be…. we don’t need to continue to revisit that week. The media should him to do what he loves most. He stood up there and answered every question to the best of his ability.

      @AnthonyTomassi-y3j 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      why wouldn't she be happy I mean that is a dream job and any self respecting person would be sad to see him go but to not be happy for a guy to at least consider such a great opportunity seems sorta selfish. I am sure she was happy for him. But even happier about the decision that was made. just my thought.

    He’s insightful in saying he can influence 19-20 year old students and impact their lives. What impact would he have on Lebron James or other NBA players? Compared to what he has at UCONN? None !

    No meeting with Labron, hardly a surprise. I guess he wanted to start breaking in the newbie a bit early.

      @@jeromedanielson4422Kentucky would’ve been a lateral move at best. NBA is obviously something on his radar, so that could’ve been an upward move, but he clearly showed his loyalty to UConn. As an alum, I certainly appreciate that and respect him highly for his decision. Wouldn’t have hated him if he took it (as long as he did it right and didn’t just duck out like Edsall did to the football team in 2011ish), but respect him all the more for staying.

    Bigger risk in NBA - couple mediocre seasons and revolving door.
