The Hoildays to me means Family. My daughters and I every year decorate our tree which we go to a lot to pick. This tradition was handed down by my Dad💕.So that's 1 of the most important. Spending time talking and laughing. My oldest daughter will be home from the service this yr. And even though she missed picking the tree with us. The reminder of what the hoildays mean is just being able to have her Home and enjoying being 2 gether.💕💕💕✨✨

Christmas is such a magical time for me. Living in New York City you definitely get the feel of Christmas from the large Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center to the window decorations in the large Macy's on Herald Square. Every year Macy's puts up this beautiful decoration that says the word believe. During this entire year we need to believe there is hope and things are going to get better. This year's Christmas was better than I expected. We could only get a small Christmas tree with a few ornaments. My sister and I both got a gift and I loveeee mine. My family and I just stayed home and tried to make it feel like Christmas. It wasn't normal but it was better than not celebrating at all. I love Christmas. I love how nice people seem at this time of year. I used to live in nyc and even though I would shop early and be finished before Dec. I would go out during the xmas shopping season to just mingle and enjoy the people. I live in the South now and I still go out with my Santa Covid masks on just to bring a smile to people. Hiiiii Marsai:) What the holidays mean to me is a chance to be hopeful and dream again. There is just always this uplifting energy going round during this time and with Christmas songs playing and seeing smiles on people's faces, truly, how could you not be hopeful! The holidays open my eyes even more towards being grateful, it gives my family and I an opportunity to love on one another and those around us, it strengthens my faith in how God was so kind to send us Baby Jesus! The holidays are so special to me in that even on hard days, a simple thing like seeing a Christmas tree or listening to carols, or seeing others leaving their stress behind to just soak on all the love Christmas has to offer automatically makes me feel better. Love you..well since I am from Africa(Tanzania),and the favorite part of holidays is the tradition we have of traveling back to our hometowns(villages) like you live in the city so at the end of the year people go back to their parents home which is to our grandparents for us children..and taking part in cultural activities..knowing our parents language..meeting with family,cousins, and fun part is when our grandparents brag or feel proud of their children in their villages of how successful they have become,how they managed to educate them even without them knowing how to read or write or even knowing the national language...It’s so nice getting together with the family well over here is the entire clan on Christmas 🤣🔥...Even though it’s different from your tradition like decorating trees which over here in each one’s tribe people get to celebrate it in their own ways some do it over foods and drinks..some even have the tradition of singing around each house in the village...but most importantly is thanking God for the entire year and mostly to our grandparents who get the only time to meet with their grandchildren and new born who were born over the year😇

I love Christmas because no matter what we’re all doing it. If it we can’t stop to talk or say hello, we’ll stop to decorate the tree, to buy each other gifts, play Christmas music!! It’s also the perfect time to bust out my limited baking skills, I love baking, I’m really excited make something Christmas themed and I love all the food, that’s always good and everyone is all ready to do good deeds, I mean we should be doing them all year round but if you haven’t then Christmas is the same to get that sorted! And for me of course I’m celebrating Jesus. I live very very far away from you but I’ve still come here to watch your Christmas video so we are all celebrating even though we are so far, that’s cool too.my cousin and aunt who lice in a different country have also come and that is just icing on the cake.
What makes me happy about the Holidays is being with my family, and eating😂 We won't be able to have our whole family here this year, but that doesn't mean my cousins ain't about to throw down in the kitchen. This sounds so cliché, but my favorite part about the holidays is spending time with my family! And it's really the simple things we do. Presents are great but my favorite moments are just sitting on the coach in our matching pajamas, drinking hot cocoa (even though we live in such warm weather), watching our favorite Christmas movie (home alone ofc), eating cookies and just being together. I also love the holidays because it happens to be my birth month (my birthday actually being today lol🥳). Christmas is such a magical time for me. Living in New York City you definitely get the feel of Christmas from the large Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center to the window decorations in the large Macy's on Herald Square. Every year Macy's puts up this beautiful decoration that says the word believe. During this entire year we need to believe there is hope and things are going to get better. I just love Christmas from listening to the songs and watching classical Christmas movies. With everything going on I'm so thankful to have both my parents in my life. Happy Holiday's and Stay Safe

This year's Christmas was better than I expected. We could only get a small Christmas tree with a few ornaments. My sister and I both got a gift and I loveeee mine. My family and I just stayed home and tried to make it feel like Christmas. It wasn't normal but it was better than not celebrating at all. My favourite part about Christmas is being with family and friends. I also love Christmas trees and decorating them.

Due to the global pandemic, it has been really hard for people to get together or do something special. I am glad that we can spend time together as a family by catching up on old times, laughing together and most importantly, having a good time.
I love making all the holiday recipes I've learned from my grandmother, mother, and others. Family dinners are always good to have but holiday meals are something special. I try to have the kids make at least one something for holiday meals, it doesn't always happen but through the years I've tried to pass along what was passed to me as a way to keep those that we have lost alive in our hearts and minds. The holidays to me means JOY. No matter how rough the months preceding them have been, nothing seems to stop the holiday cheer, I see why it’s called “the most wonderful time of the year” . It also means getting to be with family and friends cause most would definitely have a few days of work, so that’s great. And I must bring up the food, music, movies, giving, shopping! I love Christmas. I love how nice people seem at this time of year. I used to live in nyc and even though I would shop early and be finished before Dec. I would go out during the xmas shopping season to just mingle and enjoy the people. I live in the South now and I still go out with my Santa Covid masks on just to bring a smile to people. It really warms my heart how nice people can be at this time of year. Of course I wish we could be like that all of the time but I'll take what I can get. There's no time of year like Christmas. Christmas is not about gifts, it's about being together and be happy at the end of the year.
what i enjoy about the holiday is the love and happiness spread across multiple families. people like myself like to give back to others like the homeless and just being generous especially during a hard year. this year some of my family members were and able to make it so celebrating making it through majority of the year being happy and connecting together makes me happy. it's more than the materialistic gifts to me. it's really the only time me and the people i love get to relax and reflect but also give 🎄❤️

Hiiiii Marsai:) What the holidays mean to me is a chance to be hopeful and dream again. There is just always this uplifting energy going round during this time and with Christmas songs playing and seeing smiles on people's faces, truly, how could you not be hopeful! The holidays open my eyes even more towards being grateful, it gives my family and I an opportunity to love on one another and those around us, it strengthens my faith in how God was so kind to send us Baby Jesus! The holidays are so special to me in that even on hard days, a simple thing like seeing a Christmas tree or listening to carols, or seeing others leaving their stress behind to just soak on all the love Christmas has to offer automatically makes me feel better. We don't really put up a tree or decorate for Christmas in my family, but seeing you guys and other families do it and the joy it brings them fills me with joy too and I get to look forward to when my family and I in the future we'll get to do that! It is also a chance to say thank you and tell my friends how grateful I am to have had them by my side throughout the entire year!

Love you..well since I am from Africa(Tanzania),and the favorite part of holidays is the tradition we have of traveling back to our hometowns(villages) like you live in the city so at the end of the year people go back to their parents home which is to our grandparents for us children..and taking part in cultural activities..knowing our parents language..meeting with family,cousins, and fun part is when our grandparents brag or feel proud of their children in their villages of how successful they have become,how they managed to educate them even without them knowing how to read or write or even knowing the national language...It’s so nice getting together with the family well over here is the entire clan on Christmas 🤣🔥...Even though it’s different from your tradition like decorating trees which over here in each one’s tribe people get to celebrate it in their own ways some do it over foods and drinks..some even have the tradition of singing around each house in the village...but most importantly is thanking God for the entire year and mostly to our grandparents who get the only time to meet with their grandchildren and new born who were born over the year😇

What I love about the Holidays is going back home to my moms house with all my sisters. With all of us in the kitchen cooking dinner for the holidays and just spending time with family.But this year we won't be able to do that is because I lost my Mom and one of my sisters so I'm just going to spend time with my daughter and her kids and just appreciate what we have and keep the memories of my Mom and sister in my heart. ☺☺

I love Christmas because no matter what we’re all doing it. If it we can’t stop to talk or say hello, we’ll stop to decorate the tree, to buy each other gifts, play Christmas music!! It’s also the perfect time to bust out my limited baking skills, I love baking, I’m really excited make something Christmas themed and I love all the food, that’s always good and everyone is all ready to do good deeds, I mean we should be doing them all year round but if you haven’t then Christmas is the same to get that sorted! And for me of course I’m celebrating Jesus. I live very very far away from you but I’ve still come here to watch your Christmas video so we are all celebrating even though we are so far, that’s cool too.my cousin and aunt who lice in a different country have also come and that is just icing on the cake.

What makes me happy about the Holidays is being with my family, and eating😂 We won't be able to have our whole family here this year, but that doesn't mean my cousins ain't about to throw down in the kitchen. We normally have a meal theme for Christmas (I think this year will be Italian or Low Country Boil). This year will be especially cheerful because of how stressful this year has been for everyone. I have been struggling with some mental problems this entire year, and this is something I am actually looking very very forward to.

This sounds so cliché, but my favorite part about the holidays is spending time with my family! And it's really the simple things we do. Presents are great but my favorite moments are just sitting on the coach in our matching pajamas, drinking hot cocoa (even though we live in such warm weather), watching our favorite Christmas movie (home alone ofc), eating cookies and just being together. I also love the holidays because it happens to be my birth month (my birthday actually being today lol🥳).
