Based on all the performances it was so obvious that Bulacan will win the crown. The rest of the girls were just like any other candidates with typical looks and walks and exaggerated facial expressions...most of them are just overhyped by fans. I'm really glad a dark horse candidate won that night. A very Cinderella story! Never underestimate the underdogs. Way to go Chelsea Manalo a very well deserved win.

I think MUPh selected a potential girl What I really love about Miss Bulacan is how she always remain calm in stage and don't crumble under the pressure the pressure , maybe because she was not in front runner list of many fans. A very authentic girl. Hi, I just want to share this :) "God is with you, and He will never leave you because He loves you." I am fortunate to have entered pageants. I always prayed before my competition because I know how powerful prayer is and this experience proves that God is constantly keeping an eye on you. I didn't think I was good enough to participate in the last pageant I entered. Making it to the Top 4 looked impossible to me, but God led the way that night, so I didn't stumble and I made it to the top 4. And now that I'm happy with what I have, I am also a title holder in my 2nd pageant in my school and I feel blessed and appreciative. My current role is to share my experiences of God's existence. Before it's too late, embrace Jesus. I am living proof that having faith is important; all you need to do is keep praying and keeping your faith in God, who can accomplish anything. I think most people are going to be surprised this year. Chelsea is one of the most beautiful Philippina queens I have ever seen. I never thought Pia or Catriona or Jeannie or Bea could ever be beat in terms of beauty, but this queen has one of the most beautiful faces I have EVER seen in the Miss Universe system not only the Philippines. So true, she answered the question very well, straight, with calmness & soothing voice, & pointed out the thought that following her mother’s teaching, she already has influenced other women…. Great depth but only if you can follow through the depth of what she’s saying. I wonder why most bloggers think Chelsea s answer was not so satisfying… but when I heard it, I was blown away… Stacey’s too. Ahtisha’s answer was just about her grand mother but not talked about how it has brought her to. Tara’s words weren’t uttered cleanly, MacGarry talked about the future as she used “I will.. tonight” , McGary was my choice too. But Stacey & Chelsea nailed it. Truly, that coronation night is the moment of Chelsea. She able to answer the question very well with authenticity from the heart. She able to hit theme of Miss U transformational woman and influencer. I am touch of her story of lacking finances to support her outfit and humiliation as pamparami lang but God raise her victorious. Pia said Chelsea deserve her crown and I'm hoping and pray that Chelsea will able to perform her best in Mexico and will be given a chance, be valued by the judges to let Chelsea speak their in Mexico and possible win a crown as Miss Universerve 2024.

If you watch Alexie and ahtisa…their walks were over exaggerated and not graceful. Chelsea is perfect combination of grace and class especially in her q/a. She’s the only person that answered her questions the best .
Correct! Idk whats wrong with him. I just unsubscribed. I realized his ideas about pageantry is too shallow. Imagine overhyping queens that looked so unnatural and heavy. If this is how judges think in MUP, we are forever doomed in MU. Good thing he was not a judge.
Is English your second language? It’s my first language. I had a hard time understanding and following what Chelsea was saying. It was so painful to listen to. She did not sound very articulate. It sounded poorly rehearsed as she kept trying to ramble popular generic phrases she didn’t properly memorize. Are you sure her dad is American? I honestly didn’t understand what she was saying the first time I heard it.
This is the first time I felt that the winner wasn’t the popular choice. Although I’m not a pageant blogger, I’ve watched numerous pageantry videos over the years, and I truly believe Chelsea embodies the Miss Universe glow.
agree na agree talaga ako sayo Adam! With Ahtisa’s styling, idk why her team or even herself wanted that matured look. Masbagay talaga ni Ahtisa yung youthful, fun or playful look than a matured or sexy look. The gown was too dark for her and her dark lipstick didn’t do it for me. It was too much and I needed a lighter more airy look on her! And with Tara- same! I noticed that gold pearl necklace was too heavy for her look that night. It really didn’t compliment her red gown and lighter colored hair. sana hindi na siya nagnecklace. Look at Chelsea- No necklace! She knows how to work her styling. I’m glad she does and doesn’t rely on a glam team. She has the eye! Chelsea’s overall look was bright, happy, airy, she was glowing. Bot overdoing and just the right amount of everything talaga. She really can win Miss Universe. Wag lang siya magpa-rebrand sa MUP organization. and she can really be on the top of her game!
although I really think Chelsea answered the question very clever! next is Stacey and then Christi.. Ahtisa didn’t wow me with her answer. Tara gave a better answer than Ahtisa but just the way she delivered wasn’t fluid and seems like kinakabahan. Still I don’t know why Christi was ranked the last but Ahtisa was just the right ranking. Stacey was witty, charming! Chelsea was just the right girl to pick with her quiet confidence.
Alexi looked amateur, given her bubbly personality and shocking green gown, sana she toned it down, natabunan sya agad ni Chelsea nung lumabas ito with her classy, vintage style, hollywoodific gown. At ang attitude, demeanor nya really showed and perfect sa panlasa ng mga judges.
Hello Adam. Same tayo ng sentiment. For me, it’s Christi MaGarry talaga for MU. She was so stunning and the aura that nighr screamed Miss Universe Mexico. Second for me us Ahtisa. Nashakira talaga ako sa rankings ng judges, sigh! Ganunpaman, the rest of the girls performed as well that night. Di man nanalo yung bets ko, Im still supporting all candidates especially Chelsea Manalo.

Taguig didn't win because she misheard the question. the question is a personal question but she answerd it as a Filipina Women in general. She didn't give her personal experience... Beside, Chelsea Manalo has the most perfect answer because within 30 senconds, she tackled a lot of issue like skin color discrimination, standard beauty that people is looking for, how the parents encourage their daughter and she said that 'she already inspiring' not 'she wants to inspire'. the word already is a powerful word to use in a pageant especially in miss universe...
Thank you for that honest, fair and insightful critique of this year’s MUPH😄👏🏻 There will be other dark-skinned contestants in the MU pageant so I hope Chelsea will be coached more where she’s weakest - the Q&A. Ive watched your interview with her (Chelsea) before MUPH and you were so kind to her there, and you sound lile you were cheering her on. But here, you don't speak so kindly/nicely about her performance, which I can understand, seeing that Chelsea as you said lacked, e.g. in her answers. But at least you could be nicer or cheer her on. Your congratulating her in the end is like, pilit. Well, just my thoughts/opinion.

I have only watch the Coronation Night, and based solely on the Coronation Night, I think Miss Bulacan stood out - she was a breath of fresh air - simply beautiful and elegant.
Rooting for Ahtisa , the consistency from day 1, talagang pinatunayn nya yunh word nya na to show up,confident, improvement and all aspect. Sguro naging praktikal lang din ang org na si Ahtisa ang ipadala sa Cosmo because of the cas prize and 💯% of winning because of high caliber and ahtisa maybe chose Cosmo because no one knows baka bumalik yan nexr year. Maybe ayaw din ng org magpanalo from BBP , but the strategy of ahtisa kaya kinuha nya ang MCI. Hopefully makita natin sya on MU stage. And I believe din baka sayangin lang si Ahtisa ni halu, the strategy, marketable si athisa. At hindi nya maluluto sa ngayon. I think there is no need to hire a host or performer from outside the country. We have so much talent. We always say we have so much to offer but we’re ignoring them because we’re looking outside our country.

I hope Christi and Katrina Dimaranan compete again because they just have the total package to wear the Philippines sash in the Miss Universe stage.
Sir Adam, I'd like to thank you kasi po isa po kayo sa mga nag interview kay Chelsea Manalo bago siya manalo sa MUPH 2024. Yung iba kasi, sumasabay sa hype but I commend you Sir Adam for interviewing the ultimate dark horse of 2024. Honestly, may nakita ako potential kay Miss Bulacan as a viewer dahil meron siyang "oomph" at dating sa pictures pa lang. Noong dumating ang prelims at finals, natuwa ako dahil nanalo si Chelsea. I am from Bulacan and we fully support our kababayan. I truly love her skin color which is her biggest asset. She gets more beautiful lalo habang pinapanood mo siya sa interviews niya. I never checked social media no photos posts nor videos it was my first time to see them in the finals. Miss bulacan has the aura the rest were just contestants. Period
Chelsea delivered in the finals at may gulat factor yung performance nya because it was unexpected. Yung hindi pagka-hype sa kanya like the frontrunners, apparently ay parang nakabuti pa. Nasa personal picks ko sya for top 5 Since prelims, but I never expected her to do that well in the finals. Eh biglang nangabog especially with that slowmo walk in the swimsuit round. It was memorable. And when she came out in that ethereal white eg, she looked divine. With regard to her answer in the Q&A, it wasn't as impactful but her performance in the swimsuit and eg were enough for her Q&A performance to become negligible.
Iloilo was phenomenal however during her swimsuit competition I would like for her to just relax her 💪 muscles. Not saying it in a sass way, but it can come off as being tensed. The body aura should be relaxed and calm and having fun.
Chelsea's answer was not a plan, she's been empowering the women already by facing her right now due to her stories. Her delivery was good, grammar and pronunciation were perfect, not trying hard and pretentious... Her answer was real! Ahtisa described her grandma but she did not mention what she has learned from her grand mother!

Why people can't be honest! I know Chelsea deserves the crown but if she wasn't the winner people wouldn't be surprised and we all keep forgetting. Being a dark horse of national competition you can't apply the same strategy at MU and i am also not sure that she gonna bring that same fire at stage cause performing at national and international is very different i hope she will remain consistent.

Saglit lang . RBonney’s upbringing is not Filipino, so culturally she does not have the skills to Banter with other Filipino host. Filipino humor is unique. I think she did well. Her speaking voice is strong and clear.

She had the most admirable walk during the runway segment, onpoint walk for the event yet no one from the vloggers side made her number 1 on the list. As for me, I can see the potential from that moment. The best runway walk among the girls. My question is, are you, alongside with other thinks Chelsea should not be the next MUPH because she's black? One vlogger, referring to Iloilo hindi mananalo kasi mga Black delegates walang placements lately sa MU, more so Chelsea.
I agree Adam, with Patripiko on the swimsuit round and Lola amour for the evening gown. Even before the coronation night, I was imagining what if MUPH would use patripiko or I feel good for the swimsuit round, anyway it's not in their radar kaya hindi nila ginawa. pero okay an din young lola amour sa swimsuit, pero off lang pag dating sa evening gown.
After realizations, I can get why the organization may be pulling back on questions this time. I agree na it's underwhelming, and they could've done better. Pero I guess, they had to play safe so that the girls would be caught off guard. Parang being a bloodbath this year, expected ng girls na magiging specific pero they were served kind of generic questions. Pero again, it's just my perspective and MUPH could've made the night the MU2018 of Philippine pageantry.

So true, she answered the question very well, straight, with calmness & soothing voice, & pointed out the thought that following her mother’s teaching, she already has influenced other women…. Great depth but only if you can follow through the depth of what she’s saying. I wonder why most bloggers think Chelsea s answer was not so satisfying… but when I heard it, I was blown away… Stacey’s too. Ahtisha’s answer was just about her grand mother but not talked about how it has brought her to. Tara’s words weren’t uttered cleanly, MacGarry talked about the future as she used “I will.. tonight” , McGary was my choice too. But Stacey & Chelsea nailed it. Chelsea has subtle charm, mesmerizing & truly beautiful inside & out. ❤

Truly, that coronation night is the moment of Chelsea. She able to answer the question very well with authenticity from the heart. She able to hit theme of Miss U transformational woman and influencer. I am touch of her story of lacking finances to support her outfit and humiliation as pamparami lang but God raise her victorious. Pia said Chelsea deserve her crown and I'm hoping and pray that Chelsea will able to perform her best in Mexico and will be given a chance, be valued by the judges to let Chelsea speak their in Mexico and possible win a crown as Miss Universerve 2024.
Adam, I really appreciate your honesty in sharing your reviews and analysis. Some vloggers were too afraid to hightlight their standouts, given the unexpected outcomes. You were able to give balanced and truthful comments without sounding biased toward the organization and the MU winner.
If you watch Alexie and ahtisa…their walks were over exaggerated and not graceful. Chelsea is perfect combination of grace and class especially in her q/a. She’s the only person that answered her questions the best .

Is English your second language? It’s my first language. I had a hard time understanding and following what Chelsea was saying. It was so painful to listen to. She did not sound very articulate. It sounded poorly rehearsed as she kept trying to ramble popular generic phrases she didn’t properly memorize. Are you sure her dad is American? I honestly didn’t understand what she was saying the first time I heard it.
This is the first time I felt that the winner wasn’t the popular choice. Although I’m not a pageant blogger, I’ve watched numerous pageantry videos over the years, and I truly believe Chelsea embodies the Miss Universe glow.

Masbagay talaga ni Ahtisa yung youthful, fun or playful look than a matured or sexy look. The gown was too dark for her and her dark lipstick didn’t do it for me. It was too much and I needed a lighter more airy look on her! And with Tara- same! I noticed that gold pearl necklace was too heavy for her look that night. It really didn’t compliment her red gown and lighter colored hair. sana hindi na siya nagnecklace. Look at Chelsea- No necklace! She knows how to work her styling. I’m glad she does and doesn’t rely on a glam team. She has the eye! Chelsea’s overall look was bright, happy, airy, she was glowing. Bot overdoing and just the right amount of everything talaga. She really can win Miss Universe. Wag lang siya magpa-rebrand sa MUP organization. and she can really be on the top of her game!

Tara gave a better answer than Ahtisa but just the way she delivered wasn’t fluid and seems like kinakabahan. Still I don’t know why Christi was ranked the last but Ahtisa was just the right ranking. Taguig didn't win because she misheard the question. the question is a personal question but she answerd it as a Filipina Women in general. She didn't give her personal experience... Beside, Chelsea Manalo has the most perfect answer because within 30 senconds, she tackled a lot of issue like skin color discrimination, standard beauty that people is looking for, how the parents encourage their daughter and she said that 'she already inspiring' not 'she wants to inspire'. the word already is a powerful word to use in a pageant especially in miss universe...

Ive watched your interview with her (Chelsea) before MUPH and you were so kind to her there, and you sound lile you were cheering her on. But here, you don't speak so kindly/nicely about her performance, which I can understand, seeing that Chelsea as you said lacked, e.g. in her answers. But at least you could be nicer or cheer her on. We can definitely see how and why Chelsea won, but Christi ranking 5th place? It was a total shock. She has that winning glow that night, she was perfect from start to finish. It was definitely her night to win but we all know Jonas would never give it to a Binibini despite training her personally before. I hope Christi and Katrina Dimaranan compete again because they just have the total package to wear the Philippines sash in the Miss Universe stage.

Sir Adam, I'd like to thank you kasi po isa po kayo sa mga nag interview kay Chelsea Manalo bago siya manalo sa MUPH 2024. Yung iba kasi, sumasabay sa hype but I commend you Sir Adam for interviewing the ultimate dark horse of 2024. Honestly, may nakita ako potential kay Miss Bulacan as a viewer dahil meron siyang "oomph" at dating sa pictures pa lang. Noong dumating ang prelims at finals, natuwa ako dahil nanalo si Chelsea. I am from Bulacan and we fully support our kababayan. I truly love her skin color which is her biggest asset. She gets more beautiful lalo habang pinapanood mo siya sa interviews niya. Chelsea delivered in the finals at may gulat factor yung performance nya because it was unexpected. Yung hindi pagka-hype sa kanya like the frontrunners, apparently ay parang nakabuti pa. Nasa personal picks ko sya for top 5 Since prelims, but I never expected her to do that well in the finals. Eh biglang nangabog especially with that slowmo walk in the swimsuit round. It was memorable. And when she came out in that ethereal white eg, she looked divine. With regard to her answer in the Q&A, it wasn't as impactful but her performance in the swimsuit and eg were enough for her Q&A performance to become negligible.

Iloilo was phenomenal however during her swimsuit competition I would like for her to just relax her 💪 muscles. Not saying it in a sass way, but it can come off as being tensed. The body aura should be relaxed and calm and having fun.

Why people can't be honest! I know Chelsea deserves the crown but if she wasn't the winner people wouldn't be surprised and we all keep forgetting. Being a dark horse of national competition you can't apply the same strategy at MU and i am also not sure that she gonna bring that same fire at stage cause performing at national and international is very different i hope she will remain consistent.
I am hopeful but realistically speaking, bardagulan yan. Mexico pa ang venue, freaking LatAm! I was hoping they'd go for Ahtisa or Christy. Again, I remain hopeful for Chelsea, but MUPh has its work cut out for them.

She had the most admirable walk during the runway segment, onpoint walk for the event yet no one from the vloggers side made her number 1 on the list. As for me, I can see the potential from that moment. The best runway walk among the girls. My question is, are you, alongside with other thinks Chelsea should not be the next MUPH because she's black? One vlogger, referring to Iloilo hindi mananalo kasi mga Black delegates walang placements lately sa MU, more so Chelsea.

After realizations, I can get why the organization may be pulling back on questions this time. I agree na it's underwhelming, and they could've done better. Pero I guess, they had to play safe so that the girls would be caught off guard. Parang being a bloodbath this year, expected ng girls na magiging specific pero they were served kind of generic questions. Pero again, it's just my perspective and MUPH could've made the night the MU2018 of Philippine pageantry.
For MUPH2025, the org may get Miss Supra 2024 as one of the judges.
