Enjoyable show! But early on, the hosts are politely talking around why Murray seems to be playing more than he needs to: dude is terrified Westbrook is stealing his starting job!
"If you put Christian Braun on the bench who scores for you?" While historically everyone, including Jamal (-8.2 +- since 2020 season) has been horrible in non Jokic minutes, Westbrook has been even worse. Jamal can still finish games, but he should come off the bench to start the game so Westbrook is on the court for every Jokic minute.
They literally can’t trade him until summer and no one is going to want him if you bench him. December 7-Jan 9 he was actually playing better as over those 13 games he was AVERAGING 22 7 4 3 stocks 47/42/93 December 13 to Jan 1 (9 games) he was same as above but 24 PPG. Was top5-10 4th quarter player in NBA Dec 7-Jan 9 too with 60/56/100 splits with many clutch makes. If you want him gone you need that to continue above.
Absolutely trade Murray when he's eligible next year, (he's always been overrated because of Jokic, horrific in non Jokic minutes, horrific iso player) but wait for a stretch of good games and dump him when his value has recovered a little.
It's crazy to me that you would keep starting CB basically out of inertia. Listen, if his confidence is shaken by the fact that a former MVP and future HoF'er who is currently playing better than him gets his starting spot, then he didn't have much confidence to begin with.
Gawd Denver. Finally get back to full health and we come out ice cold and get blown out in the first. Every time I start trusting them they completely destroy all hope.
@@nicholassims1947 well they won. Mavs had two really good runs but the nuggets came back with their own. Bench played well. AG still has to get his sea legs. Jamal Murray is still having the knee problem but they had to win the next two..
@@JecAudioThR33 That very well may have just been the ugliest Nuggets win I've ever seen, LOL. If there's ever been a case for giving both teams a loss after a game, this was it. Not only did Denver come back from a 17 pt deficit in the first to take a lead in the early third, they also came back again from a 19 pt deficit. Usually, I can say they played great in the comeback but this one was just Dallas playing even more abysmally than Denver. I shut the game off when they went down 14 again in the third and just re-watched it. Soooo glad I turned it off cos I woulda threw up my lunch had I watched live, LOL. A win's a win, but holy cow this was ugly. It's like they both tried their hardest to lose and Dallas finally won the battle in the end 😂😂😂. Hopefully this is a wake up call for Denver. I can't really see them playing any worse on Tuesday.
@@nicholassims1947 you're right it was ugly as hell lol they did deserve to lose considering no Luka or Kyrie but still..being able to go down and fight back will be necessary to win later on. Some teams can't fight back..they should have never been down like that at all but being mentally tough is mandatory if u wanna have a shot at winning it all.
Imagine Murray without the benefit of Jokic, his career would be comparable to Jordan Poole. Jokic seriously 2x's the salary of anybody who plays with him, including AG, MPJ, Bruce Brown, and soon to be Braun...
Of course russell westbrook should start permanently the rest of season its a no brainer
Yes! Jamal bench! AG start!

Yes
Bench Murray and do whatever they can to trade Murray. Booth should get his head checked for giving Jamal a max contract.

@@superdopehiphop good point.
@@2020-q1p he had 2 of the best offensive playoff runs ever to WCF in 2020 and 16-4 title in 2023.
@@daledenton7296 🫡for being a pro about it when getting data/opinion that made sense and not arguing with nonsense. Super rare online 😅
No, but rotate him with the other 2 guards and the small fowars so he can have more floor time with the Joker.
Why so there record can be worse
@corysimmons455 No, their record will improve. Every team needs a hustle man and thats Westbrook. Like the energizer bunny.

Lonzo and Ben Simmons for sure. Ben Simmons would be an all star again next to Jokic if he takes the game serious.
Russ plays 1 move Murray to 2 and cb comes off bench don’t know what’s the struggle here
