In today’s video I have explained as much detail as I could about the Canadian private sponsorship for refugees programs. Groups of five (G5) and SAH (sponsorship agreement holders).

This sponsorship program is for refugees with status and those who are in transit. If you are in a resettlement country i don’t think you will be accepted. You should never pay anyone for sponsorship. Never.

I sent 100's of mail requests to all SAH holders, and am UNHCR holder with my family, they all refused to sponsor me, so how to initiate an application when all SAH sponsors refuse to deal with us?

Both are very similar, the only win of sah is that the process for sponsorship approval is a bit faster since immigration already knows them, but for group of five it isnt super long either. I would say go with an sah, but if not, its totally ok to go with a G5 too.

UNHCR in Pakistan is not providing the confirmation refugees status. My cousins been given a case number and was told this should be sufficient to get sponsored. Is this true? My cousins are in bad state can i use the case number that they were given by UNHCR without the confirmation letter?

Your husband can update immigration of canada about this, it needs proof of relationship or a marriage certificate if available.

Hi, thank you for this informative video. Can you please tell more about the person who has no refugee status ( is an asylum seeker) but has Canadian sponsors. Do you have a video in this regard?
Hello, You’re welcome.
A person who has no refugee status and is an asylum seeker can still be sponsored through an SAH, if you cant find an sah but still want to sponsor them, you should ask the asylum seeker to contact unhcr or the foreign state of the transit country they are living in, connect their sponsors with them, and request an interview to determine their refugee status, once they get refugee status, they can do sponsorship through a group of five.

Please madam can you tell me, if one of the sponsored refugees in a groups of five completes his interview and medical exams and passes all, but the other refugees in his group have not finished theirs or have been rejected, would that person be able to come to Canada alone or would he be delayed so the refugees travel together. Does a refugee need filled forms or an application? What if they don't have technology or any way to get those papers ?
Their sponsor should help them fill out the forms, in the end, its the sponsor that needs to submit the documents.

Hello, no you don’t need. UNHCR ID is enough. Make sure you have full refugee status if you are applying for a G5.

I have few friends who are living in switzerland as refugees for almost 10 years but they are not happy because they can never get the PR and citizenship. Can I with a group of my friends, here in Canada, sponsor them on G5? They have a travel document that has refugee status on it. It will be a great help if you could answer my question and if not, could you please tell me who or what office/agency can i contact to get the correct answer. Lots of thanks!

When the application is submitted online, you should receive an acknowledgement of receipt of application email.
After that, you need to wait a couple of months for the next step, which i explained in the video.
Does group of 5 need to go register themselves to the registry or they don’t need to?

They just need to complete their forms and get police checks done

مدت زماني كه توسط ايميگريشن كانادا تخمين زده شده كلي هستش و توضيحي راجع به مدت زمان هاي بين هر step از پروسه داده نشده. طبق تجربه هم متفاوت هم مدت زمان ها، بستگي به كيس و شرايط پرونده داره. كوتاهترين طبق تجربه ي ما ٨ ماه بوده و بلندترين يك سال و دو ماه
