I so would love the course, it's just out of my budget. I've read and loved his book and I love the videos he shares on TH-cam, but I literally don't have the funds right now with inflation going on! I couldn't even budget your workshop/party. I'm grateful for all of the free information out there, for sure. I've been using notebook "hacks" since the early 2000s and planners since I was a kid, so I am CONSTANTLY trying new things. I found Ryder Carroll's video less than a year after he'd published it and haven't stopped using BuJos since, though they have changed in soooooo many ways. I've gotten so many other people hooked as well, lmao. I loved your perspective on the course :)

You might want to try to apply for a scholarship. Bullet Journal gives about scholarships for the course and six months basic membership to Bujo U periodically. I think they send out a notice about every 6 months in their newsletter via email and announce on Instagram. You might be on the look out for this. I had a friend who did receive one so I know it is a real thing.

I'm a BuJo noob. Well, I tried and inevitably failed the "aesthetic social media" version of Bullet Journaling, so I consider myself a noob. 😅
I came across your channel, and though I swore off Bullet Journaling after my disaster of a first attempt, thanks to you, I'm giving it another go.
Right now, I'm halfway through The Bullet Journal Method by Ryder Carroll. I have seen the light! And I am obsessed. I'm going to take your advice and purchase this course. Once I've finished the book, I'll dive into the course.
Thank you so much for picking me up, dusting me off, and setting me back in my course of Bullet Journaling. You've made a big difference in my life!

I bought access to course around the time it was released and I revisit it every year during year end period. I love that the life time course access also gives you the access to the newest updates made to the bujo framework like recent updates on used bullet/ inclusion of mood bullet or improvement of reflection questions. It seemed like a lot of money at the beginning but the added value is still there even after few years.

I have been bullet journaling since 2017 and got so much out of the course. For me, the course clarified misconceptions and helped give more meaning to my practice. What I mean by more meaning, is that I realized that bullet journaling is more about helping me gain clarity on how I want to live my life. This is one of the biggest reasons why I like your channel and Clurb, Simie. Your content really digs deep into making me think about my life rather than just plopping my tasks onto a monthly, weekly, daily spread. One other thing about the course is that it is constantly updated. I love the 3.0 rapid logging, using the N.A.M.E. acronym and the C.A.L.M. acronym for the monthly filter. Ryder is constantly evolving the practice.
Additionally, I'm a premium member of Bujo U and have gotten so much out of the live events, book clubs and experiments. Even if I can't attend them live, there is always a reply and I can do them on my time.
Lastly, I am experimenting with "The Pocket" this month. I'm using it as a full on bullet journal. I am thinking that I might do a two-book system for June, using the A5 notebook for monthly logging and reflections and the pocket for daily rapid logging. Btw, I love page 37 too, it is a reminder to go back and review your entires for what you learned about yourself.

I love all your videos, purchased the journal clear back in December (still in it's wrapper). ADHD 60 yr old stuck, literally, the clutter on table I should be doing this at. I'm thinking this course might force me to "get off the pot" and focus and get to it. Keep doing what you're doing Simie! Congratulations on partnership!

I think I might have undiagnosed ADHD, and I believe I saw something long ago about Ryder developing this method to deal with his ADHD, I will caution you that - I absolutely need notebooks to keep myself in check, and I have been on and off with the bullet journal method since it's inception. Here's my issue with the bullet journal - it overwhelms me because of the nature of my thinking, distractability, desire to do a million things. For me I found it doesn't have enough structure to handle the way I am. I think ADHD is about finding your particular balance of unstructured vs structure. One of my biggest things I realized about myself is that for a notebook to be helpful - there has to be a sense of structure to the information. I can't do a big list of random stuff, it's more helpful for me to group certain items together. Also collections.. when they expand beyond 1 page, the solution is threading, and it's faaarrr to distracting and difficult for me to look at pages 10, 45, and 60 that all have information about something I need, say a trip I am planning. I haven't done the course, I have only been following the method since it released and I did read his book. But, the bright side is it does advocate for customizing the notebook to fit you, and that might take a lot of trial and error, and not skipping the reflective questions which are super critical to saving yourself frustration. So some of the adjustments I have made are: removing task lists from my notebook, I never need them in the future and I need very detailed lists to push myself through getting some stuff done and focusing on putting things in a smaller notebooks that are distilled and organized to be more of a resource. The biggest difference lately is figuring out my routine and process to plan (better executive function), Simie has great videos on this.

I have a premium membership to bujo u and I freaking love it. I enjoy the live events the most. I started bullet journaling back in 2016 but didn't really understand the method until I read the book a few years later. I paid for early access when bujo u first opened up and finally took the course year later. Was blown away by how much detail and depth it went into, and I honestly can't wait to take it all over again since new modules have been added and updated. I would say my favorite part of the bujo u experience is in interacting with and learning from the community first hand in the live events. Really seeing how the course methodology works in the real world as people share their bujos’ and their experiences using the method is priceless!!

I've been using a journal for about a year now and thought I was doing a decorated version of the BuJo system. Now, I'm reading the book and finding out... No. I have absolutely not been using this system lol!
I want to finish the book and try the 'real' method for a few months, but now I'm super curious about the courses, so this video was very well timed. Thanks for sharing your feedback!

yes! the book is awesome. I noticed a lot of people in the course had actually already read the book which got them started on the method and then they ended up taking the course which filled in a lot of gaps for them (also me lol). So it seems the path you're taking and considering is proven lol

This just leaves me with one question. A question I've had basically forever. How much value is there in this (practice, course, etc) when my life is about managing the energy of a peanut. Which is to say if I manage to do my laundry and scoop the litterbox, my day has been a success.
I often wonder if I overcomplicate things for myself with systems seemingly designed for busy people.

The course is definitely something I've considered, since I've been using some form of a bujo since 2016 and I've really settled on a good system just by process of elimination. But I also know there's a lot more I could be doing beyond just my functional set up, so this summer might finally be the time to jump into it!

I so wanted to watch this video, but I just couldn’t stand the loud musak in the background. It is just too distracting and demanding of my attention. I don’t remember having this problem with your other videos, but really you are good enough( to talk without ANY music much less something that sounds like a maddening time on telephone hold.
