My hair has been through several rounds of bleaching but I condition well between bleaches. it doesn't feel fried, so I think I'm doing ok. I mix in the conditioning additive in my bleach too, which seems to help. Well, wish me luck! Opal hair in a fee weeks. :)
I love it! How do you get your hair light enough to dye these colors? I'm planning to do opal hair. My hair was purple, then I tried to bleach it and it turned pink, bleached again several weeks later and now it's a funky yellow/pink. I plan to wait another few weeks, bleach again, and tone out the yellow/brassy/bleach color, then add my pastels and maybe a darker purple "shadow root". I'd love some direction cause I'm new at this. BTW you are stunning.
It's so hard to say because it all depends on your hairs texture. I've been doing my own hair for 13 years so I know what I can put it through. I've figured out that if I can't get it where I want it, just go with another color. Haha
can someone plz tell me: how the heck do you rinse out your hair (im alone, in my shower) and not have the colors bleed on each other? I would love to have a dark color with a very light one, but cant always seperate out the light streak, depending on how color is applied. Even if i could and it initially rinsed out ok....eventually when i shampoo there will be some runoff to get muddled....how can i avoid this please???????
Kalissa Rodrigues in a situation like bleeding that’s only a huge issue if you rinse it out using warm/hot water , it bleeds more from the colors surfacing towards the drain and all over the hair. When you use cold water to rinse it helps the color to stay. Also don’t shampoo afterwards , if recommend waiting over 24hrs to wash your hair and when you do try washing hair again in cold water and it will help the hair maintain its color. Obviously you won’t want to shower in cold water so you can always pin your hair up or wear a net and take a normal shower then when done wash the hair over the tub. Another thing that can help is after applying the hair dye you can let the colors completely dry out before rinsing and you can blow dry it to help move along the process but honestly you don’t need to do this step.

I see you don't wear gloves, how do you remove the dye from your skin and hands?
You can remove hair dye with nail polish remover & Sigarett ash
Sally's beauty supply sells wipes that remove dye from skin. I don't know what it's called, it was a little pricey but worked pretty well for me.
You can mix baking soda with dish soap & it takes the dye right off .
