  • From the day she started working at the Defense Intelligence Agency in 1985 until the day she was arrested for conspiracy to commit espionage in 2001, Ana Montes was a spy working on behalf of Cuban Intelligence. On this episode of DIA Connections, we examine the nefarious activities of this highly decorated intelligence analyst who became one of the most damaging spies ever caught engaging in espionage against the United States. Conversations with a counterintelligence investigator, a spy psychiatrist and bestselling author Malcolm Gladwell, help to unravel the challenges and pitfalls in catching the woman known as the “Queen of Cuba”.

    She’s a spy for the enemy and thus a traitor. Why people don’t just say it?

    • @larrysherk
      @larrysherk 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The reason not to "just say it" is that millions of us have known in these last several decades that the U. S., with its regime-change wars, has consistently acted on the wrong side of history. A B Montes saw plainly that she was primarily a human and secondarily an American, as she announced in her trial. American foreign policy is pure bullying and belligerence.

    There is o excuse for her betrayal. What she did was willful and premeditated and thank God she was caught before she could inflict more damage to our country. She has no remorse for what she did, and never will!!!

    Should she really be released? 😮 😢 It’s highly likely she has no remorse and wouldn’t change at all, but at this day and age, likely to help the CCP, etc… 😕🥶

      She stood up to the U. S. Empire weaponizing food and medicine for poor people, for Cuba and all other places we feared. If I had one tenth of her courage I would be a different guy.
