after focusing only on Sonic with TSR and that flopping, I doubt they'll go back to making Sega All Stars games anymore

Me and my sister using both Ulala and Pudding was laughable. We both used their superstar moves at the same time, we even confused the AI.

Oh my god this brings back so much nostalgia, I almost forgot about this game after it went missin for such a long time. I had it on the Wii and I’m not really sure how *far* I got into the game, but I sure as hell remember it.

You never unlocked Shadow? He was second unlocked for me. The last one I unlocked was Alex Kidd because that kid's a prick on the tennis court

2:24, NiGHTS dream flute can teleport opponents into random areas. Nice (also that would be a great new move for NiGHTS if there will be an HD remake for NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams on the switch.)

Samba de janeiró came in my recommended and it unlocked a whole lot of memories of this game i forgot existed aswell as the racing version. Used to play this with my older bro all the time.

I cant believe we had to wait till All Stars Racing Transformed for some of these characters to come back. IN ASR, the only characters that returned were shadow, eggman, Amigo, Ulala, AIAI, beat and alex kidd.

My brother and I used to play this game on the PS2 back in the days! My brother would always be in front of me when we played doubles! He liked to play as Gillius since we thought his Ultimate was OP! But since he was closer to the net, he was more prone to hitting it (even with the lightning power!) and unintentionally giving the opponents more points!
Damn I remember when the demo for the game released on ps3 and I would play it nonstop on the weekend’s, I didn’t get the full game because the ps3 was with my brothers and they were living in another city because of university, the year after (if I am not mistaken) I found the Ps2 copy of it in the store for like a few bucks, and I would play that sucker like crazy.... good times man good times🌚👍🏿💔.

The background characters in this game kinda deserved to be playable characters. And more super monkey ball, Jet set radio, Nights into dreams characters etc.
I played this game as a child without knowing any other characters besides the sonic cast and even then i wouldn't be able to tell you how the characters were on their stage. Now know basecly every character origin game and i can say they did them justice this is what a crossover game should be not just know their just playing tennis

Nights and Reala were OP, their reach was crazy, they almost cover the whole field 😅

Sonic,shadow and Alex kidd are the only ones with faithful all star moves, the rest they just added in as swirls but with sonic and shadow its their super form and with alex kidd it takes notes from his original game series and even includes the Anvil!!

Yeah, SEGA and SUMO ignoring Puyo Puyo characters in the All Star series always bugged me, the only explanation I can think of, is because the games might be "too japanese" but I don't think anybody would care about that, there's also Ristar, one of the most underrated SEGA characters ever, when he finally made into something he was the flag waver.
