He always had first round talent, but because of his size, he was never considered a first round pick. He was labeled a poor man’s “Honey Badger” after his first season at TCU when he was first team all Big 12 defensive freshman of the year in his redshirt freshman season… The primary reason he went undrafted, was because of his size, (5’8 180) or lack thereof… Extremely high football IQ, and is a “dawg” has that ability that you can’t teach ~ always around the football. I was elated that the Ravens picked him up as an undrafted rookie, and each time he’s had the opportunity to play, he’s played well. Even with him having multiple injuries… Ravens need to extend him now, (off season) once they rid themselves of Marcus Williams bad contract. One of the biggest criticisms I’ve had of EDC, was his willingness to throw money at FS (Earl Thomas, Marcus Williams) when the team has been successful with drafting and developing safeties…( KHam, Geno, A’Darius, and this season picking up Kane and Brade, ~ they will be contributors going forward} would rather them spend that money “in the trenches “ OL and DL, Edge
@@mobrown1198 Couldn't agree more with what you've said! Hindsight is definitely 20/20, and I don't think anyone would've guessed Marcus' fall off this season, but it definitely hurts a bit more seeing AD ball out on such a cheap contract versus Marcus and his contract and what's happened this year. I think it's awesome how he even got a tattoo that Tyrann had when he was young, now that you bring up the Honey Badger comparisons haha
Jalen Carter is “only” 6’3, he looks 6’8 on the field. Lol. He’s a beast of a man. For his size he’s extremely athletic. In comparison he’s an inch shorter, and 20 pounds lighter than the Ravens Travis Jones.
Stop saying “In my opinion “ and “I think” YOU ARE THE COACH- your audience is looking for decisive, authoritative opinion. Do your job - without concern for those who will disagree. LOVE YOUR RAVENS COMMENTARY- as always
AD showing why he was projected to be a first round pick for sure! Plays larger and stronger than he may seem like on paper

I love the lead in. Nice to get some general thoughts before diving into the film.
This should be a great match up for the ages. A lot on the line for both teams.
I agree coach, especially on your opinion about those screens
