Asia was great for her time and Janae was great during her time. However, when it comes to dancing with elegance, technique, grace, sex appeal, class, follow throughs, everything that makes an amazing dancer, it’s Janae. Don’t get me wrong Asia was great, but Janae takes this one for the win.

The captains that came behind her were always compared to Aisa. Janae is Aisa 2.0 because I haven't seen great dancing like that since Aisa. They're both beasts but I choose Aisa.
I will say this: Asia give me professional cheerleader, like for a basketball team. She brings the pow. Janae gives me professional dancer for musicians (no shade intended, we all remember the situation). She brings the milky and the silky. IDK if it's an evolution of styles for the team as a whole or what, but I like what Janae brings a liiiiittle better

Imagine beyonce motivating molding training encouraging little blue ivy and in 10 more years she out do her mom legacy as well as elevate the entire brand as a whole. Both were great but for Asia's moves to be still relevant today from 5 years ago, she brought it before her time and get's my vote. I enjoy Janae and have followed her since the Traci step it up dance reality show. She's awesome but let's see her moves 5 years from now.
My daughter (a dancer) started me to watching ASU. Asia is/was the reason we watched every performance and the reason my daughter was considering ASU for college. So my vote will always be for Asia...all the predecessors are standing on Asia’s shoulders and can continue to Hold The Line!!!
To me, they have completely different energies but both will slay you to death. I prefer Asia because she looked like she was having so much fun and she's spontaneous, whereas, Janae comes across as more business-like and sultry and clinical.
My daughter Asia Martin not only won ALL the awards during her reign . She paved the way for girls like Janae, considering she became a captain her junior year formerly a sophomore the year prior (‘13). Of course Janae is more modern with the current times, she’s what the people wanna see.. this is 19/20 squad compared to 14/15 so the times are changing. But let’s not forget My daughter in Drumline; New Beat, Zonnique’s music video, and paving the way for the remaining captains that will follow after her Name.. trust me, any captain that accepts the position at ASU will ALWAYS & FOREVER look to Miss Asia Slayasia Martin ! 🐐

Thanks to her upbringing under the Best dance teacher as well as being a Stingettes. The 2020's girls are checking for Janae look at her platform. Asia just doesn't do it for me but her team behind her is amazing. Janae just has it the it factor that Asia doesn't present to me. I believe the difference is Asia is such a soft, elegant dancer (reminds me of a doll). Where as Janae is a more intense dancer with power in all her moves and tells a story with her entire body including her face, eyes, and intricate hand & hair details.
they're both phenomenal. they were and continue to be huge assets to the stingettes. i don't feel like i need to pick anyone or deny either of them their due. im just thankful i got to witness both of them deliver greatness. i mean lordt. it is great.

Both were great but for Asia's moves to be still relevant today from 5 years ago, she brought it before her time and get's my vote. I enjoy Janae and have followed her since the Traci step it up dance reality show. She's awesome but let's see her moves 5 years from now.

My daughter (a dancer) started me to watching ASU. Asia is/was the reason we watched every performance and the reason my daughter was considering ASU for college. So my vote will always be for Asia...all the predecessors are standing on Asia’s shoulders and can continue to Hold The Line!!!
To me, they have completely different energies but both will slay you to death. I prefer Asia because she looked like she was having so much fun and she's spontaneous, whereas, Janae comes across as more business-like and sultry and clinical.
And SECONDLY, ASIA brought cleanliness to all the counts. She made the counts very clean yet sensational. She started it.
My daughter Asia Martin not only won ALL the awards during her reign . She paved the way for girls like Janae, considering she became a captain her junior year formerly a sophomore the year prior (‘13). Of course Janae is more modern with the current times, she’s what the people wanna see.. this is 19/20 squad compared to 14/15 so the times are changing. Asia just doesn't do it for me but her team behind her is amazing. Janae just has it the it factor that Asia doesn't present to me.
I believe the difference is Asia is such a soft, elegant dancer (reminds me of a doll). Where as Janae is a more intense dancer with power in all her moves and tells a story with her entire body including her face, eyes, and intricate hand & hair details.
