This video saved me from something terrible. The Lord used this music to transform my life. I was destitute a short while ago and on the verge of suicide. I was so far from the Lord that I was convinced my only way out of the misery, pain and horror i was suffering was to commit suicide. I was praying the Lord would just end me by taking me out of the world. I was so desperate to die because my life has been very hard. I have suffered torment, fear and a hopeless despair for 45 of my 50 years. I was promised by God that he would use me and use me in a huge way. My life has been one of imprisonment of fear, a fear that has kept me in chains of sorrow and misery, a fear that convinced me that no matter what i did, i was condemned to die a terrible, cruel vain death, that there was no way Jesus could ever forgive me of my sin, I have lived with a mountain of guilt and shame that was never mine to bear, but i did bear it and the Lord has lifted it from me. The Lord has taken away my fear, my guilt, my shame and desire to leave this Earth. He has healed me and renewed me and taken from me that fear and that lie of Satan that i am not worthy to love, serve, honor and praise my God and Savior Jesus Christ. Jesus never left me nor forsook me, he has always been with me, always loved me, always fought for me. This song God used to dispel the lie of the Devil who hates me and I am now renewed in my love for Christ. Thank you Lord Jesus for your everlasting love, mercy and grace. I will carry on because I know that I am loved and I will stay where you are. Hallelujah

I admire the old time feel from the vocals of this piece of devotional. My cousins and I were raised amongst this genre of music however fell off somewhere along the way. Researching the lyrics of a song after visiting a church in Barbados was the icing on the cake getting back on the right track of what is important. By the looks of things, it might not be or probably isn’t a generally accepted feed or lifestyle coming from a person like me (or Christianity on a whole) but however it certainly feels good being on the receiving end of it ~ who have the eyes to see let them see~ It is good work. I don’t go to church , I usually do these Hillsong / Hills Church devotional online until I could execute the sixty odd books of the Bible. You know people usually take life for granted forgetting that any day could be their last hence my reason for trying to get it right these days . A lot of distractions, deception, lust, corruption, profanity out there to deal with ... . The list goes on and on Anyhow ~god bless ~
