Very nice! It all looks really nice Dillan. I used to be a pipefitter and unistrutt is used every where for pipe hangers and like you said just super handy. Thank you for another great vid my friend.

Those bolts on the Action Trax are going to be a real pain if you ever have to actually use them. I'd look into some hand knobs with built in bolts for the track system.

I have a 4th gen stock roof rack did you change yours to be able to use those u tracks you like? How do I attach those to my stock roof rack?

melito25 I made a custom rack. I’ll link to the original video below. To make bars like that with your stock rack you’ll want to go to the unistrut section of home depot or Lowe’s. It’s usually found around electrical. The t-nuts will fit into your stock main rails. Get L-brackets, bolt to the rack using the t-nut. Then cut a unistrut piece to fit between the rails and bolt it the L-bracket. That was my original plan until my dad talked me into making a steel rack.
Hope that helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Switch to extruded aluminum And you’ll never have to worry about rust

We actually just got connected with 8020 and I’m thinking about doing a new rack made from their parts.

Jamie Forrester thanks! I’m super happy with it. Love these tracks. They can be pretty much bent in half and will go right back to normal shape. And the metal studs never burn off!
