The difference in the two teams was the fact friga fam played as a team. Ran sets in half court vs the other team played 1v1.
Thats why everyone besides ballislife fan took friga fam because in a game like this iso always hurts a team will playing real basketball will get you easy buckets
love watching and hearing a coach break down real basketball games, not the iso ball we see alot. REALLLY informs me how important constantly moving and screen after screen can separate teams !

East coast squad everytime I watch them there a lot of talented guys who play 1 v 1 ball they will always struggle in 5s vs teams who can really play as a team

I took my son and his swim team friends to watch this and it was a lot of fun. Here's the things I noticed.... 1. There are no counting fouls, and Friga Fam took COMPLETE advantage of this with moving picks and more. 2. There was ZERO energy on the Ball is Life team. 3. During warmups only two players actually went and played ball and shot the ball for Ball is Life, the others were to busy joking around and playing on their phones. 4. Ball is Life NEVER attacked the boards after a shot, they turned around or watched the BRICKS! 5. BiL doesn't pass the ball or move, it's all ISO and trying to get inside where the Friga Fam was waiting with their hands out. 6. Coaching was horrible for BiL, almost non-existant. Spread the floor, REBOUND, and FOLLOW YOUR SHOT and more importantly PASS!! We really enjoyed the game and would go again because they treated the kids really great, but this wasn't team basketball, it was all about that ONE person. Great analysis and glad I found the channel. Cheers!!

ECS lack of defense was always an issue since this started. Plus they have a tendency of playing one on one instead of team basketball. Friga fam had crazy ball movement. Friga fam is very well rounded.

And also hard for a team to defend a team full of shooters and scorers who are also willing to pass and move the ball around and move around the court making the defense shift and switch and makes it hard for teams to collapse on players driving or working in the paint bc every player is willing to give up the ball bc all they care abt is the win and not stats

I’m glad friga fam won because that’s the team I had initially winning. But tbh I think it would’ve gone to a game 5 IF deebones was playing & they had someone else besides Big E 😂. Still I believe friga fam would’ve won in game 5 but it would’ve been a lot closer with BONES in the game. And TBH no one really helped Duke out offensively/defensively cause only he was consistent. Munson from MIDWEST was a horrible addition cause he doesn’t do ANYTHING with all that athleticism so that was a waste of a pickup for ECS.
True but Friga Fam also didn’t have DeAllen or Dzoe, they could’ve altered the team fasho, east coast squad had no offense this game they pretty much just let Duke carry, but yeah DBones and Duke usually the entire offense so adding DBones could’ve swung the game

Munson is a better player than Deebones anyway. I think he was purposely laying low a bit because it wasn't his actual team.
Friga Fam was in the gap and helped down on the post and I think Munson knew that. So he was kicking it out before the doubles. Mark and Pantos are some over seas vets too. They’re crafty on D.

Pantos forced Friga Fam to start running plays and move without the ball. Fomby and Kam gave them the grit they were missing. They always had shooting and finesse. Now it’s all coming together.

Looking back at this, this time, unlike games in the past, Duke actually showed up here on offense, but I actually was impressed by JLew's team offense. I actually think Duke would win 1v1 against JLew.
I know JLew has some stuff offensively, but hell, if he was playing bets on money against Duke, or Moon, OH I think I would have to say Moon and Duke could take that one. For Money, Moon is a different animal.

This is not complicated..It has nothing to really do with refs, with inside and outside...Here is the difference so we do not have to waste time. ECS relied on high flying and exciting entertainment. Frigga Fam plays actual basketball on bOTH ends. ECS was running, dunking, leaping over fences, yet when it come to STOPPING teams, they got scored on too often, losing a LOT of games. For example, they went someplace in NC and them boys OWNED them, intimidated then=m, and kept them away from their amazing circus tricks They pressed them up and down the court, put bodies on them, and did not allow them space. In contrast, Frigga sticks to BASIC basketball where the defense is more important. Instead of 4999 dribbles to possibly get one point, they stay in your chest and play with grit. The last thing is, if you paid attention, ECS has so many big egos they even struggled to play with each other, and they have always had issues protecting the paint. ECS has a lot of potential and could have won, if they started playing team ball for a longer time.
