Oncers need to think back 6 years and remember when this was all new and confusing until we got a grip on the alternate realities involved. So now, rather than ending it altogether and leaving a big void in our lives, they are reinventing the show. Remember, IT'S A NEW BOOK!! So what if it practically IS a complete reboot? At least we don't have to start from scratch and figure out the ground rules anew.
I can tell you why I love it. First and for most it tells the story of fairytale magic and I'm like a big kid when anything is achieved through putting a different rounded perspective on our favourite most loved Disney characters. I also love it especially about the Evil Queen when you understand her back story and why she'd hate Snow so much, pushed into a loveless marriage, a marriage she didn't want to be in but you see Regina's Mother, where she came from nothing and did probably want the best for Regina to grow up in riches but then you also see Regina, before she turned dark how she never wanted those things - so this show has captured all the essences of Regina's path as to why and how she has become what she has become and so we can have empathy for the Evil Queen, whereas in books and Disney movies the witches were just plain evil and you just hated them. And also I love how the show has wrote all the lines for each character and centred it in reality and come from a place where everyone is reacting off each other because I think what some shows do is that they don't put much thought into characters lines, because then how what they say does come of cheesy and corny and once upon a time is tactfully done from each character, because it fits from each personality in the show. Especially Grumpy's character because he once was Dreamer. I just think everything was beautifully done. I loved the sibling rivalry between Regina and Celina and because Celina's character fits my personality and with feeling not good enough and always having to prove herself, she had me in tonnes of pain for her and not just Celina, I have cried for Emma, Regina, and Snow and its because of the fact that I see pain within their face. It's like they are holding back and then when I see a tear, I'm just gone...
Since you guys are confused about hook being a different character in a way, I’ll explain it for you. Remember when the old wish realm hook tuner young again, to try and find is daughter. The rich realm hook went with Henry and Regina to find his daughter and the other hook is taking care of Emma and the baby. Your welcome!

It's like every time I watch an episode I wanna get on my phone and put a new different inspiring comment about believing in yourself that you can actually do whatever you want because without the belief that you are someone, or that you can do something, you will never achieve greatness and I think alot of people don't have the faith in themselves to think I'm going to do something about my life and in actual fact create our own endings because the show talks about fairytale endings but I feel like each person out there watching this has our own story to plan out in life, and it gives a warm comforting feeling that if you do the right thing, and stick to morals that you will in fact have your happy ending, instead of breaking all the rules and you end up in jail or something. So for me the show makes me think about myself and the choices I'm making to either better myself or going off track a bit
So, I saw the show on season one and part of season two and then fell behind and stopped watching. I enjoyed it then and decided to try it again and found I liked it. I've been binge watching it a bit at a time on Netflix the past couple of weeks and it's thoroughly absorbing. So, I'm interested in the reboot. I haven't seen a full episode yet but I've seen quite a few clips here on YT and I was happy to see some of my favorite actors from the show are there--Lana, Colin & Robert. All excellent actors. I felt though, that I missed Regina's dry wit/sarcasm which made me laugh, I also miss the family sort of atmosphere that the other had, maybe the small town added to that feel. I also think the writing on the show and am encouraged to see that the same writers/producers are in charge. I hope it's as good as the first incarnation. I also like the show's themes about hope and the darkness and light stuff.

Lt. Basil basically it's fat hook from that weird episode a while ago. The one with the beard and fat suit. That is the hook he is playing. At the start of the season u see that he took a poison to make him look like the real hook so that's why he looks like himself. The hook that we have been watching for all the seasons is gone with Emma and this is and different, second hook....... if that makes any sense. Haha

I hate that this show is ending, the episode last night was so great, especially the end I was feeling bad for Gold not having anyone acknowledge him as the memories returned. When he got the photo album back and the witch doctor says your the worst version of yourself and Rumple stabs him in the back and says no I am the worst version of myself, that was classic I never expected that, I laughed so hard at Gold shocked look on his face lol And Rumple says "Did you think the wish realm could hold me?" Why must it end that is the worst decision ever... there is no show like this out there I love it so much an I am 60 !

Bobby is too great as Rumple. I'm pessimistic that his new character can bring back what was so fun. It was the Dark One of The Enchanted Forest that caught my attention in the first seasons.
I think you find its always alot of kids who have that belief and that hope, but as people grow older they tend to loose that belief in themselves or in magic and I think with believing in magic because we all of some level would love it if it were real, so this show pricks at us, at our childhood at the Disney movies we've watched since kids. On a completely different point when I was younger Christmas was such a wonderful magical time, laughter and presents, sitting on Santa Claus lap Mom playing the Christmas songs, decorating the Xmas tree, and even the idea of the tooth fairy putting a fifty pea under your pillow it was such an awesome time because you believed, and for me I was gutted when I heard Santa Claus wasn't real... and after a time of knowing that, that belief goes away and hearing about how your Dad ate that mince pie then most things you believed in, go out of the window but it is so lovely and magical when you believe in Santa and the elves and just the magic of it.
he has done many interviews in the past he may have just not had much to say about the new season but if you look in the past him and belle actually have done one together before as well.
