I play the piano version and is really surprised that there is a guitar version😂 I feel like the guitar version sounds better than piano, maybe cuz you played well, good playing!
Thank you! There are absolutely wonderful piano performances of the piece online as well, take a listen to Anthony di Bonaventura if you have a chance. I was originally inspired by harpsichord recordings of the piece.
It was an excellent melodic music work of Scarlatti played by a virtuoso guitarist with super technic and nuance. Plus, the sound of the guitar was superb.
I have to admit that the guitar and harpsichord versions are truly beautiful, but when I listen to them on piano it is very different. Excellent interpretation of the best I have heard.
My favourite harpsichord sonata by Scarlatti! You have captured Scarlatti's intension here brilliantly. I think he was so influenced by Iberian guitar players and tried to emulete them in his keyboard style. You have reverse engineered his ideas and done a brilliant version. Very satisfying to hear your perfect interpretation. Thank you so much. Totally enjoyable
Stunning, flawless. Among the best tones EVER emitted from a guitar. Only a few in the world can produce clear, bell like tones that Adam can sustain throughout. Listen to the purity he produces at 4:58... Bravo.
Thank you Andrew! I had many great interpretations at my disposal as reference recordings. I love di Bonaventura's Scarlatti, but that tempo would have been unmanageable on the guitar. Thanks for your comment!
Dear Adam, you already know how much I love your touch and spirit. I'll tell you again and again. "Soave sia il vento" :-) You made my sunny-rainy-frenchy-sunday enlightened
Awesome! I have been thinking about ordering a guitar from Jean. I had the opportunity to play his #149 and #150 last year. I fell in love, but could not afford to buy one at the time. It goes without saying that your playing and his instrument make a wonderful team! Cheers!
Thank you! Working on it getting published at the moment. Will share the news on facebook.com/adamcguitar when it is available for purchase if you care to follow me there. :D
This is a beautiful arrangement! Is there a way I can get it? I would love to play it.. congratulations, you are a great musician! Greetings from México.
Thank you so much! I made several changes to the Barrueco arrangement published with Schott music, but his arrangement is excellent and more playable than mine.
Hey Eric, the arrangement hasn't been written out yet, but I intend to do so soon. This version was learned off the piano score, which you can find on IMSLP if you want to arrange it yourself. I'll put a note in this video when the score is available for purchase on my website!
Yes Scarlatti is very difficult on the left hand. Try to relax the pad of the thumb (the thicker part at the bottom of your palm that is a little more muscular) and think of it as a medium-rare steak tenderness. Most people tense up this part of the thumb and it’s like a well-done steak
@@AdamCicchillitti Adam! Thank you sir for your reply, great analogy, mine is an overdone steak 🤫which causes me to take a break in playing every now and then. Ive found out a way to ease my grip by counterbalancing with my right arm pressing against the other end of the guitar. This way i can temporarily play almost without gripping the neck with my left hand and boy that feels alot better. Its not a solution though. Anyway thanks, its good to know that the pro's feel the same way about the challenges these pieces have😃

D.C. PEPSI I especially like the guitar gentle squeaking noises
And I don't think there is a guitar version of this, he just probably made his own music sheet or style
Justus Tsai He made it clear in the description that it is a transcription for guitar by M.Barrueco
Scarlatti is for sure VERY HAPPY. So do I. Many thanks.
Thank you!
So far this is the most accurate, clear, beautiful, pleasant interpretation of this wonderful sonata! It made my day!
Thank you Santiago!
Now i am listening to an excellent, giant guitarist, with giant technic and nuance. I love all of his performances. Thanks for uploading.
You are too kind dear Raffi! Have a wonderful day
definitely you are one of my favorite artists in the guitar world.

You make the soul of Scarlatti touchtable and touching. LOve!

He makes incredible guitars. They are expensive but still well-priced considering the quality, especially his newest guitars. I highly recommend it!
Very good, this guitarist.
Thank you!
Great playing Adam. Beautiful tone and clarity. What guitar are you playing?
This guitar is made by Québecois luthier Jean Rompré. Double-top cedar crafted in 2013. Thank you for listening, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays !
Please where can i find/buy/beg steal or borrow the sheetmusic for this😱! Cant find it anywhere and i need it badly since im in love with this piece
The version by Maestro Barrueco on Schott is very similar, I just adapted certain sections from that using the score on IMSLP. Hope this helps!
Thank you maestro! Hope youre doing ok during these hard times. Greetz from the Netherlands
@@adlib8096 You are very kind, I wish you health and happiness (from Canada) during these crazy times as well!

Magnifico splendida interprétation comme pour les femmes ma préfèrée c est Kyuhee Park
Elle est parmi les plus grandes interprètes de notre génération. Merci pour tes commentaires encourageants Roberto!
Second try on this masterpiece😮, its very demanding on my left hand thumb area. I seem to be doing something wrong as im gripping too tight
