Lol it was so funny, as soon as I saw the Ambulance looking a bit sad on Craigslist, I immediately knew I had the perfect person that needed it in their life. It was an epic phone conversation, I remember pitching it as its an ambulance, and it can tow your race car after the C2C .

BJ and the Bear and The A-Team, both had the premise of being accused of a crime that they didn't commit. There was also a Saturday morning show called Run Joe Run with a German Shepherd dog accused of a crime he didn't commit. We were more easily entertained back then!
I still dream of finding a 1970s or 1980s caddy ambulance from out that way it’s the most ridiculous ambulance they ever built and it’s just from that era when funeral homes owned ambulances as well as hearses
Honestly its those silly moments on any road trip where you just start having fun talking about random stuff or making your own lyrics to a song you've heard a million and one times or something else. Those are to me the highlights of any good road trip and it was fun to hear a fun example of one on during a Cannonball. Awesome story.
Another Ficarra Great! Amazing that the "Cannonball" type coast to coast thrash went as long as it did but the Ambulance was a stroke of genius as well as a hat tip to the Transcon Ambulance which didnt do so well reliability wise lol They tried it here in Aus a few times but I dont think we will ever see it again here sadly (Unless I make it to Parliament :-)
I used to live, with my parents, in Oroville, CA. Where they shot some of the pilot for BJ and the Bear and my father was in the bar scene where they're playing pool. My father played Greg Evigan in a game and won. Anytime I want to see my father, I just have to watch the first episode of the show... 😆
Not too long ago, I had a chance to buy an ‘80 GMC Sierra Grande brush truck with 9k miles. I didn’t have the space for it, but the department decided to keep it which was good.

@@johnficarra9500 The way Ed races, better put some Band-aids and Bactine in it.
This was by far the coolest car on that run. You never know what John will show up in!
I am still partial to the Cadillac limo from the last 2904.
That's a Truck not a car.

I like how he’s got a beer in his hand the whole time
Doesnt it seem so proper for him and the story lol
Not just any beer: Hite, a Korean brand. Impeccable taste.
John's on a completely other level of storytelling. Love them all but he has the best stories of everyone.
His delivery helps as well. The story can be meh 😐 but the delivery make it eh?😏
Casey is right up there also imo.
Randy Is also awesome

John Freaking Ficarra, that’s how you start June!
John needs to start a channel.
Imagine this documentation narrated by the brilliant John Ficarra himself. It would be a blast for sure !
John is one of my favorite story tellers. We need him and Travis to do some event so we can have them both tell the tales!
Saw John filling the tank on this thing in my little town in the CA foothills last year and knew I would see this video one day. Stoked
John Ficarra with a beer in hand means I am in for a great story!
Which I could listen to a John ficarra story every day
Always a great day when John Ficcara's telling a story
Lol it was so funny, as soon as I saw the Ambulance looking a bit sad on Craigslist, I immediately knew I had the perfect person that needed it in their life.

John sounds like he has an amazing wife.
*have to ask the wife* "An ambulance? Hell yeah!"
Yes his wife is a fantastic woman and a legend also.
Decades from now, when John is an old man, if no one makes a movie about his impressively interesting life of cars it'll be a damn shame.
I have a gurney named Dan in my hearse I thought I was the only wordsmith that's hilarious
Am i being dumb? Why Dan?

What a great story. I'd love to see that ambulance more in detail. I'm a big fan of the 1967-1972 GM trucks.
“We’re going to destroy him in this flying brick” 😂💀
what could possibly go wrong is a great beginning to an awesome story!!!!...
If I have to go to the hospital in an Ambulance, an LS powered ambulance sounds like fun, at least the ride will be exciting and interesting
I didn't think John could get cooler, only to discover he's an Aquabats Fan! Super rad!
A good example of, it's not the how or why of getting to the destination. But the Adventure and experience along the way.
John Ficara VinWiki stories are the best.
John needs to do more stories about strange history. The Whittington Brothers video is still my favorite video on youtube.
this guy is hands down my fav person besides Ed on this channel
124 mph in this thing?! Craziest part of the video
BJ and the Bear and The A-Team, both had the premise of being accused of a crime that they didn't commit. There was also a Saturday morning show called Run Joe Run with a German Shepherd dog accused of a crime he didn't commit. We were more easily entertained back then!
John Ficarra is a boss of storytelling! Nothing more to say.
The friggin Aquabats picture! That made my day!
John Ficarra is one of my favorites. Thank you, Sir.
No one does it better than John !
I have a 1971 Chevy K10 Suburban in that same body style with barn doors.
Great story! Can't believe it ran so well. There is a lot to be said for how well the Cali climate preserves vehicles.
I still dream of finding a 1970s or 1980s caddy ambulance from out that way it’s the most ridiculous ambulance they ever built and it’s just from that era when funeral homes owned ambulances as well as hearses
John is definitely one of my favorite story tellers on this channel. Always interesting stories told in an entertaining fashion.
7:54 I love the aquabats getup. Haven't seen them in concert in over a decade haha
John is the best story teller on this channel. He was the 2nd best but Rabbit started his own channel, so John moved o to 1st

"You don't even need a set of tools..." 🤣
on this episode of walking dead, neegan talks about his LS swapped ambulance
Ah Mr John telling cannonball stories great way to end my night, 1am here, Rj in Oz
"It's not like building the Corolla.." no, it sure wasn't! Everything that could go wrong....... DIDN'T! Great story John.
Always a great day when this page posts!
What a wizard at storytelling, I had to go to work but now I'm 10 minutes late 🤷♂️ thanks John!
Not who I expected telling an ambulance story

A proper Cannonball ambulance should always come with a Doctor Nikolas Van Helsing in the back.
Well done John, as usual.
Thank you my friend!
Definitely my favorite cannonball story.
Funny this guy sold the Escalade to my cousin which we also used for parts (interior) nice guy cool house and dog see u around john
Can we just make this the Ficarra and Lehto channel from now on? I mean Ed can be on too I guess. 😁

Tijuana brass is pretty good
God, I wanna watch those tv pitches. That sounds funny as hell.
It's on my bucket list to do a Cannonball C 2 C 2 C in a Class C Motorhome.
How can we lose so many to covid that were so special to us,but we STILL got THIS guy :(
What a great raconteur! John Ficarra rules Vin-Wiki!
Herb Albert and the Tijuana brass!
Whipped Cream and Other Delights!!!!

Every time I hear the VinWiki theme music, it makes me want to do the Tyrone Biggums dance

As soon as i saw the thumbnail i instantly knew who the storyteller would be.
Aquabats? Right on
This guy is great.
My favorite guy on vinwiki
Ya gotta love it. What's not to like. The plan, the prep, team. the down to the last second.... I mean, it's all off the shelf right?
As soon as I read the title I knew it had to be John telling the story
We gotta get that footage of that run!!! Sounds gold
In the top ten coolest Cannonball vehicles ever.
I'm glad Dan got to go along for the ride...
of course this guys drinking a beer. What a bro
im kinda surprised he didnt use some of the escalade interior on that old ambulance
Now that's a truly great woman
This was the most wholesome story ever XD
Listened to the story like a kid
I have to say, out of all the people. I think John has had the best luck ever with who he married
Almost Red Ambulance
Great idea after great idea
And it was Red!!!
*LS SWAP EVERYTHING*
As he went further into his 70's movie pitch he sounded more and more like Kyle Kinane Im dying
Awesome story rule of ls swap is if you are going ls swap u must go ls fest and do the ls cruse
