is it just me or does guilty feel more like a dancers choreo than a singers? like it feels so much more like something that was choreographed as a dance for dancers that you aren't really meant to sing while performing. nothing against the choreo, it's gorgeous and i love it with all my heart but it feels so much more pure dance than idol choreo.

Most of Taemins' choreos are extremely difficult and very artsy(music/mv wise too). Guilty is surprising more on the tame side(for Taemin, not saying its easy, it definitely isnt but compared to other choreos of his). I would say it has more contemporary elements, which i think is why it seems more for dancers than singers. Its also for the message of the song, some parts have a feeling of being trapped, frustrated, and trying to escape, and some parts and more calm, sensual and fluid(very good contrast)
choreographers can experiment more when the kpop idol is a main dancer and can dance. thats why bada lee gave that choreography to Taemin, she knows he can execute it perfectly

But ur so right!!! many choreographers have said that he allows them to grow and motivates them to do better and harder choreo (cuz he tends to work with the same choreographers too)

Nobody looks happier when he's dancing than Shotaro. And the concepts of RIIZE are so good, the music, the dancing, the styling are all consistent and classy. They are one of the few newer boy groups who brought something fresh to the table. They don't look like rookies, they looked like seasoned pros from day one. I hope fans stop hunting them because of dating. It's sad to make lives so difficult for people who are so talented.
We have similar taste since we appreciate the same things when it comes to choreography but also music wise. Riize is very impressive, Ateez and The Boyz are also killing it. XG is just so skilled in every aspect that they lack a weak point in the group, which also helps with making a choreography for a song, knowing that a group can pull off anything that you give them. There is barely any girl group at the moment that could pull off what they do when it comes to dancing choreographies. 🧡

Honestly in my opinion XG changes how you see Kpop choreography. They are so incredible and the choreography is always so refreshing. After seeing X-gene nothing will ever be the same

Honestly YG's foreigner choreographers are beasts but it's just that they like toning it down or even bare minimum versions. Kiel Tutin's original choreos for Blackpink are stronger than YGX's choreos. It's a crime that only a few versions of his choreos are being included. I think Blackpinks's choreos from 2016 to 2017 are so good.
I can kind of understand why some ppl don't like SHALALA cus at first I thought it was kinda weird but then it got stuck in my head and i listened to it again...and again...and again and I got obsessed with it and it became the fist song I devoted all my time to learning the dance too and I mean I went all out on it, my muscles hurt so bad I could barely walk up the stairs.😂 I really do love this song alot and It a song that will get me hyped up so easily.
