I didn't know how many Christian Albums Kitty Wells did. My Dad only had 2 or 3 of them. Glad to see so many of them on here. God's Blessings on all who had to do with producing each of them. Their families as well! My mom had Loretta Lynn's book "Coal Miner's Daughter " . In it, Loretta mentions that Kitty Wells is one who never tried to Badmouth her. I sincerely believe it! She didn't participate in negative talk about others. God Bless That!
Your singing (Springtime Echos) In the late 1960's and the 1970's Sterling Huff Sr. used to do the very best job of leading music at Licking First Assembly of God. Many times hearing Camping in Canaan's Land was the height of the music service!

There are all too few. I only saw a few at festivals. No reason for it. Arnold Schultz was an early music partner and teacher for Bill Monroe - the man that invented the genre, so there are definitely some African-American ingredients in that wonderful pot. Those 'blue' notes were not European anyhow! It is a decidedly American art form, much like jazz is. I'm Irish myself. I can hear the influence of our folk music on old time music which influenced bluegrass in turn.
Nothing wrong with. I listen to all music. I listen to wrap, R&b, country, bluegrass, this type of gospel music. Most of anything that isn't heavy heavy metal. Have to say. One of my favorite country artist is Charlie pride.
