I used to pick up 2 Jolts on my way to work starting in 92 when i was a midnight steel worker. I discovered Jolt when i was in the Army. Helped with those 4am starts.
Heeeeeey! When I was in highschool (05-09) you could buy it at the gas station down the street from school. Monster energy was the big can on campus but jolt cola definitely made the rounds.
love this!!!
Thanks!
Hell yeah I loved jolt as a kid! OG all the way!
Looking forward to trying it!
we actually have it in Adelaide Australia at some places... it is the best. Jolt Aus is a separate company but it means we get all that caffine still.
Made in Welland!
yep....the one and only, all the way!
I still remember the flavor
I remember blue jolt with the cap that would pop
Everything was caffeinated in the 90s. I drank Jolt Cola and chewed on Laffy Taffy with red, white, and blue chunky sugar crystals while working as a dial-up BBS sysop and very early HTML developer at 15/16 years old. Eventually, Water Joe came out - caffeinated bottled water. Which, of course, I used to make espresso when I was in high school. I got some caffeinated mints at a gaming convention (where Nintendo was playtesting a not-yet-released Pokemon cardgame... my friend and I kept getting yelled at by the dude teaching people the game by slipping up and saying that we had 'killed' the other players 'mon... there weren't even any kids around, no one was interested in the card game) that gave me a raging migraine. Fun driving home with that.
But, after we lost Jolt, we got Surge and that stuff was basically Slurm from Futurama. They introduced the wonderful innovation of wide-mouth cans! Now every soda can is wide-mouthed, but back then none of them were which impaired rapid caffeine intake.
I was drinking jolt in the early 90's. Josta, too. That shit was weird.
Diet Coke actually has more caffeine than regular Coke
Only Sugar has more Sugar.....
Hahahaha!
Mountain Dew has more caffeine
I loved Nitro cola too
It's coming back as a cola flavored energy drink!!! You can order it from online Australia right now like the original 12 oz glass bottles
